I have a W205 with exactly the same error. Do I need only the Seat Occupancy Sensor Emulator plugged in to get rid of the error?
Unfortunately I don't have all the power cords? Especially the wire that ends with a black piece. Is it sold with the emulator?

Anything can be removed it’s not the point. You need to pass emission test that is a different question
