Hello I’ve just bought my m2 and it is full stock I’d like to run on the ring but I don’t know if I need to change the brake pads and fluid Is your car fully stock on the brakes ? Did you feel any loss at the end of the lap ? Of after several laps ? I’d like to do 6 laps in two days so I’m wondering if I can go fully stock Thank you !
Hi buddy, you can leave it fully stock for sure. It's always a good idea to visit the Ring with a freshly serviced car (fresh oil & brake fluid) The standard pads are fine for several laps back to back even on hot days. Tbh I only ever do a couple of laps back to back so I can swap passengers for rides ! :)
I would do a dozen laps over 2/3 days with no issues.
@@Mpower-hz4gk thank you so much for your answers The brake fluid is quite new but still “stock” It’s not like rbf660... I’m also driving around 9min BTG so you’re experience will be similar to the one i’ll have next month !

How much did it cost for the day with an instructor??
It wasn't a whole day it was for a session, maybe 30-4o minutes and it wasn't expensive (way under £100)

It's a friend's car, 1.8T small turbo, remap to approx 250bhp, 3.2TT front brakes, Nankang AR1's

@@CoinLaundry500 250hp would be about a k04 size turbo. Stock turbo is usually low 200s in the 210-220hp range.
