Ah, you can't beat a nice crested butte. Oooh err, missus.

You will NEVER pave your way out of gridlock. Induced demand prevents it. But keep spending millions on defunct transportation!

Right now, California's Lake Tahoe area is almost unusable on big weekends & weeks, thanks to the hordes of people trying to get off I-80 and to the ski areas. Here while we progressive environmentalists have been patting ourselves on the backs for buying "green" electric cars, the scourge of gridlock has gone unaddressed. The drive from Truckee to Palisades (aka Squaw) two years ago during the holiday was 3 hours. This is a 30 minute drive without the insanity. And the "green" automobile only INCREASES urban and suburban traffic jams. Dang, if only there were another way!

Imagine if we could use a conveyance that ran on self-guided wheels, didn't need snow tires, studs or chains, wasn't stopped by whiteout conditions and pose the risk of incompetent, unprepared, distracted and/or impaired drivers? One in which people could let just ONE person operate it while they sat back in chairs and relaxed, talking to friends and even enjoying some food and adult beverages? Wow, that would be so amazing. Such a shame that this technology still has yet to been invented. 🤐

I am a member of the Texas Ski Rangers, and the NBS 50th Anniversary Summit at Vail was amazing!!!

I belonged to NBS...a Snow Gopher!! Went to many of their summits! Work and distance kept me away this time! GREAT FUN!! My daughter was a kid snow Gopher and NOW she's an Expert snowboarder adult. She was coached by an Olympic Team Coach but decided to pursue her architecture passion. Ski On NBS!!!!!
