Visited stornoway as a child,1980's . absolutely beautiful place, the beaches were like talcum powder and the sea was crystal clear. The sea life was amazing and the gannet birds were dive bombing us as we walked near the nest on the sands. Back then only 1 traffic lights!! The ferry across from Ullapool was like an evil roller coaster !! Definitely worth it though 👌
