Spiritual Care In Nursing Practice
This video examines the rationale and the place of spirituality in nursing practice through the eyes of a critical care nurse. Guidelines for incorporating spiritual care into practice are explored, as well as nursing skills necessary for effective spiritual care. Spiritual care interventions are identified, including the connection between nursing and pastoral care professionals. Challenges to incorporating spiritual care into nursing practice are also examined.

hi dr. i am a son, of a person, who has been fighting this. - i feel after the two patients / participants were asked in your video, what " spirituality meant to them ". I don't agree completely or rather, I disagree - that they said the same thing. Both answered in the affirmative. but the answers were in my opinion, a bit different. The first, one answered in a more " direct sort of way, mentioning one's connection to god, and connecting that, to the emotional fulfillment in ones life " While the second one . ( ...excuse...will type later, i have to go, )
