This is the backing track I created for my original low whistle & tin whistle version of this tune found here : ua-cam.com/video/mbUWWnPipVg/v-deo.html
Wow. This is stunning. What a beautiful rendition - alongside the images, too. This captures something remarkable and beyond description.
Thank you!
I've only recently been led to your wonderful music channel. So sorry to learn of your loss. This is a beautiful tribute. In my thoughts.

Thank you! This is a Susato Kildare whistle in the key of D.
Dear Pedro (and Family.) i am sorry for your loss. Beauty and pain, love and loss are emotions that I hear in your lovely playing.
Thank you very much 🙏 though I have to say this is not me playing, I could never do it that good. This tune was composed in honor of Audrey by mr Michel Vangheluwe and performed by himself and Ilse Vromans, who was Audrey's flute teacher. (more info in the video description)
Angelical tunes❤
It's amazing to me how "Star of the County Down" can be such a happy piece and "The Unquiet Grave" can simultaneously be so sad! Remarkable what complex moods can be created with some changes in tempo and ornamentation, isn't it?
Yes that's really remarkable, and it goes for many trad tunes like this wonderful rendition of Tabhair Dom Do Lámh (played first slow and then fast): ua-cam.com/video/tLE8fSzY7To/v-deo.html
I live in eoligarry 😂
wow 😮 it looks like a beautiful place to live! I'd love to visit the Outer Hebrides one day.

Hallo. Das ist sehr schön. Wirklich schön. 💖
Haunting, like something from another realm, the sounds stay, long after the the music has stopped. Thank you Pedro x
I heard it was written many moons ago after a fisherman heard it coming from the water of a calm, quiet night. Nobody believed there were Humpback whales anywhere near there for ages, but now we know there are occasionally. It does sound Humpback whaley!
That's a great story. The idea of fishermen unknowingly hearing the songs of humpback whales and weaving them into their music is fascinating. And you're right, it does have a Humpback whaley vibe!
Very expressive
Beautifully played - just gorgeous! Thank you for posting this.
i enjoyed, really enjoyed.
I too want to say “beautiful”. Played with sensitivity and deep feeling. Thank you, Pedro.
Beautiful Pedro 😍
Just love the way you play slow airs. 🎶 They are so beautiful ✨🌹
