I would struggle with that idea of "motivation" and lack of it for a long time. Always looking for motivation... where will I find it? Why can't I find it? Then like you say - it's within you. I had to push my own distractions and roadblocks aside, then I could make space for my own motivation. It's in there, I can feel it! Now just practising that to check of those tasks that you say clutter my list, and eventually my day. Thanks Amanda, nice to have a friendly reminder :)

N and I have scheduled in weekly check-in nights (sit down, analog, face to face dinner evenings) which give us time to realign with each other and communicate how we're both feeling during our weeks. Also bi-weekly art nights. So now QDD is most certainly going to be on our list! A day from work devoted to connection - I can't wait!
Also, as a gmail user, i love the ability to create pseudo-email addresses (adding a '+') for all of that bacon material - so i can filter out the bacon I've signed up for using my workemail+bacon@work.com - that way it's there, yet out of view until I have time fieldguide.gizmodo.com/how-to-use-the-infinite-number-of-email-addresses-gmail-1609458192
Auto filtering incoming messages can be handy, if like you suggest, you want emails to be away from initial view - in their own area - for when there's time for those emails.
I think we should also ban the word "perfect". Like selfish, we've created a context where the words hold negative meanings whether internally or externally in our lives. Woo self! #learning
