Listen to this it’s GREAT…. Practicing the Foundational Principles: 1. Be ‘for’ your community. Look for ways you can serve your local people, with no agenda. Does your community know you’re there? Are they glad you’re there? Are they better off because you’re there? 2. Creating radical Jesus followers. Not just people who choose Jesus and become a ‘Christian’ but Christians who actually change and become a disciple and follower of Jesus. Be like Jesus. Creating people who are motivated to reach others. 3. Create ‘Come & Experience’ services. ‘Assume they’re in the room’ - Think of who you want to be there. Talk from the front to newbies and first time visitors and unchurched people. It’s not just about being friendly it’s helping people to encounter God WITH an explanation. 4. Prioritising next generation. A lot of people make their decision for Jesus when they are a child. Churches who put money, time and great people in to the kids and youth work see change. Kids invite other kids when they catch it. 5. Gain, Train & Maintain Volunteers. Have mindset that, as church leaders, you want something ‘for’ people rather than from people. Serving becomes part of mission. Move people from consumer mindset to co-owner mindset Love the dream team idea! THANKS 🤩
