In the second case I just do not understand why a woman in their right frame of mind would ever be walking the streets in a bizzy town centre especially Manchester on their own when it is really pitch black the woman who was attacked should have just got a taxi to from the place where she had left her friends to the place where she had arranged to meet her boyfriend or he could got a taxi to the place where she was with her friends I get that she should be able to walk the streets safely on her own but unfortunately that is not the case especially nowadays

In the first case it is very sad tragic in fact as expected but on a realistic note nobody should ever be walking the streets at night on their own especially when it is pitch black they are too many idiots hanging about if they want to be safe than sorry then get a taxi at least that way you are not putting your safety in jeopardy
