Dude, I cannot open =(
Unfortunately, the first few times opening it can be the trickiest. A few additional ways that have worked for me: Holding the outer ring tightly and press down on the center with the pads of three fingers while turning. Placing the puck on a hard smooth surface, gripping the outer ring with my fingertips, and turning. You can also place your palm down for extra support. The key to removing the back plate is a secure grip on the outer ring. I hope that one of these tips help you to get it opened.
