    Never do that in a hazardous production environment! It is the wrong solution to a problem. Valve closing time should be calculated based on the type of fluid, length of pipe and diameter. Air relief valves are only there to make sure the piping system is completely flooded.

      Self weight of beam is uniformly distributed throughout the length. So self weight per unit length = (Density of concrete = 24kN/m³) × (Volume of beam per unit length = Cross sectional area = width×depth)
