Kiwami's dragon style is the best style and the most lore accurate one imo It started like absolute shit (because of 10 years in the joint) and stayed like that until Majima stepped in to force you to improve it (alongside Komaki training you), by the end of the game i think i didn't use any style beside Dragon

I lowkey like Shinada’s fighting style. He’s not an experienced fighter like the other main protagonists so he mixes up whatever he can do. The punches and into the bat swing fist or what ever it’s called, I love it. It’s choppy, like what a real street fight would be.

The saddest part for me in Richtofen's last speech in Blood is that he becomes increasingly delirious, pinballing between desperate leaps of logic and remembering who he is. "You can help me, you're a doctor..." "Don't you know who I am?". It's a pretty damn real depiction of bleeding out, considering CoD's standard for that is a death gurgle or some intense one liners.

They took one of the weirdest substory characters, and put him into easily the most emotional substory this game. Id call it best but there is only one more, all i can say, why did it have to fly? But i loved this substory so much, it caught me entirely off guard.

honestly my opinion, great game but have many flaws. 1. Combat and time of attack until the next attack. 2. The fact you need to use moves to cancel a long wind up attack (it feels so weird to do that instead of a Hit.) 3. You can’t keep a lot of characters if you buy them, you buy them and you can’t change your character unless you have enough money. (Weird asf.)

I do like the goofiness and the nonsensical bits of Yakuza but it needs to be balanced out with the horror-esque elements. Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 in particular had this unsettling tone to it. I actually want to feel like I'm playing a game revolving around the japanese mafia and their criminal underworld.

this right here, this is the kind of well put together zombies content I've been dying to see be put out since BO4! There's not many people that thoroughly go through the maps and compare them instead of making a cheap 10-15 minute video, so you have my full respect for breaking that cycle (wink wink nod nod). Thank you for the hard work, the video was amazing, and as someone who loves both maps for their own reasons, I agree with your answer, even though I lean more towards blood. I can't wait to see what other projects you have in store, and if you plan on making more zombies comparison maps! The best kind of horror is the one you dont expect. I admire rgg sneaking in horror substories and my favorite was the ghost girl substory from Yakuza 7. I legit cried when she vanished at the end having her wish of going on a date with ichiban fulfilled. It was so wholesome.

i viewed the majima everywhere encounters as little rewards cause each time i did them id get the EXP i needed to get more powerful and the skills unlocked for Dragon i even actively searched for majima before i progressed through the story causing majima to go on vacation since majima progression is locked behind story progression

I see most of the horror aspects being a subversive take on horror tropes of the time. Nothing to talk about other than RGG did a take on what was going on at the time of release. Nicely done though….good to see devs covering lots of topical subjects.

I honestly hope RGG Studio don’t hesitate to sprinkle some more horror elements here and there in future games, I like it when non-horror games lean in the horror aspect in specific points of the story/side content There’s also a substory in Gaiden in which Ki- I mean Joryu meets a streamer who wants to visit the haunted apartment of a woman who was murdered to try to go viral with a possible ghost sighting Long story short we find out the streamer was actually the one who murdered the woman and he tries to kill Joryu, he obviously gets his shit kicked in, then the ghost/spirit of the woman writes a message in blood in the bathroom’s mirror, thanking Joryu I think it was one of the cooler ghost substory of the series

Beautiful eyes on thumbnail. I would also mention zombie climax battle from Yakuza 0, with creepy music, in that area in the forest, where Nishiki was about to shoot Kiryu. Also in Yakuza 5 there is a climax battle, where Shinada fights cappas, pretty creepy too.

I don't know why but imagine walking around the area late at night where shintaro Kazuma died and you suddenly hear a whisper saying beautiful eyes and touching kiryu's shoulder before disappearing
