That's a successful hunt! Your US quarter, if the date is prior to 1964 it's Silver! It's in rough enough condition that you could clean it and not cause a lot more damage. You can also tell by the rim of the quarter, if it's all silver there won't be a line of copper in it. Happy New Year, thanks for taking us out there with you!

You have been missed. it looked like a couple of pipes in the mud near where you found the thing that was U-shaped & had circles on either end. Loved the photography at the end.

Happy that you are back. The 1949 coin is in great condition. I just found out that the newer coins can be picked up with a magnet. Have you tried magnet fishing ?

I love mudlarking big time 😁 but what ever you do when finding a clay pipe, never smack it up against anything to knock off dirt ! Just take it to a puddle of water or stream to wash the dirt off ! The grooves on the ink are for resting the pens being used. Why don't you sell your finds? I enjoy watching you because you are environmentally savvy and are picking up plastic and other things bad for wildlife.

Storage space, I am with you on that. The small scent bottles are good finds, I would fill a shoe box and visit the local auction house or ebay it. Inks dont seem to get as much £ but I would do the same with them. You may get a nice payday. Bubble glass is a collected thing. Marbles are defo keepers older the better. Good luck.🕊

The stoneware bottle with the handle looks like a German mineral water bottle. The pipe bowl with the portrait is extraordinary! What a sensitive but if sculpture. It’s really a dream find.

Fenning's was a maker of cold and flu remedies along with other things I'm sure. Growing up in the 60s and 70s my Mum always had Fenning's powders in the medicine drawer. Tasted foul but they worked! Anyway thanks for the videos and keep on with it!

That Stoneware that you found is wonderful with its handle. I don't remember seeing anyone find one like it. I am sure it is antique. Good for you with it and the pipe face. Don't dismiss bottles because they have screw tops . Some have been around for a hundred years.
