Famine Memorial - Dublin
The Famine Memorial statues can be on Custom House Quay, at Dublin City Docklands.
The Famine statues, were presented to the City of Dublin in 1997 and were designed and crafted by Dublin sculptor Rowan Gillespie.
These haunting figures commemorate the most profound disaster in Irish history, when Ireland lost more than one million citizens to starvation.

DevRunner many thanks for your comments, this was a friend of ours who runs with our running group “The Fox Trotters” we are based at the Fox Inn Garboldisham. Jame came 3rd in the overall virtual 24 hour run in the uk so a good if not hard weekend for him. Cheers Eddie
