Sorry for the delay with this episode. Here I show you how I made some plywood panels to separate Quarter berth from engine bay, also complete redone the quarter berth. I also paint a cockpit locker inside and make a recessed box for the engine control panel. The HDPE fuel tank gets pressure tested, too.

Engine Bay before and after

In this episode I have to remove cabin sole and main bulkhead from my OE36 sailboat. And all deck hardware etc etc... But good news is that I receive my brand new HDPE diesel tank! Although there is more to disassemble I promise you, this is the final episode focused on breaking the boat apart. The future ones will be more about building and reassembling it.

Sorry for not posting for half a year. The video is 6 months behind real time now. In this episode the work on my sailboat OE36 continues, still dismantling the interior and also removing all chainplates. I find some very bad laminations at the backstay chainplate and rotten balsa deck core where the chainplates exit the deck. I also pay a visit to the marina where my other sailboat Shipman 28 ...

Finding something strange in the bottom of the boat I fear there may be a crack in the bottom of the boat.

So boring but I am still sanding and removing stuff from the interior of the boat. Checking if a bigger engine would fit into the engine bay.

In this episode I continue sanding the interior of my OE36 sailboat. A half bulkhead has to be removed. Also test fitting new fuel tank and thinking about swapping the engine.
