"Simple Drum Beat" with like crazy good samples, its all you need, lol But what sounds i wonder? As for bass, i think the bass instruments are super important, sound design is super important here.

Great stuff man I use bitcrushing and decimation in my mpc one on my synthwave snares in my mpc retrowave expansoion pack im making. What some may not notice at first is that the tom drum is acting like part of the snare here wich is a nice touch. I did not realize that the synthwave snare could actually be just the top part of the snare like your example here and that is super sweet.
