Moonlight Temperature Experiment

Why is the moonlight cold? I read that sailors were told not to sleep on deck in the moonlight or they would get sick. True? I don't know. I thought this was interesting.

I have another fawn behind the house this year. Momma jumps the fencing, has her fawn, and it can't get out. I leave the gates open but it still won't leave. This is why i have to wait until July to cut.

Oliver 33 slideshow From the Archives
Hello, I am French, I was the son of a farmer in the 70s, my father had an oliver33, what a pleasure to see this machine still working on videos, UA-cam is a gold mine for old agricultural machines, greetings from the Burgundy region in France.
Hi, and thanks! I am a Frenchman living in NE Washington state. I bought this small place and work a job to support my farming habit. There is a music slide show i did that will give you an idea of the shape i brought it home in. It was over 3 years but i was able to bring it back, with some modifications.
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 merci bonne année 2025

can't beat free!
Ya, and free delivery too!
Pretty cool! Can't beat free either. I have no idea what brand it might be, mine is a Cockshutt and it is very different from that one. That's a lot bigger than mine too. Thanks for sharing, Rusty! Good luck getting it going again!
Thanks! The good news is, i got lots of left over flat chain haha.
Doesn't look too bad.. Maybe an old EZ-flow. They were red. But then I know there were a few companies up your direction that built similar too.. Sucks if you have to replant.. but some grasses don't do anything the first year. Time will tell.. Thank you Rusty!!
Thanks Ed. I think i would have been better off if i would have just left the peas, and not plowed. Not much you can do without rain. It sure dries out here anymore. Lots of EZ flows over here, ya maybe. I'm thinking painting it the same colors as my little ford, lol. It should save me a few bucks every year if i can get it to work. There's also 3 other sprockets i forgot to mention to change amounts i guess.
@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 ya . A little rain goes a long way... I forgot they had a bunch of different size sprockets for rate control.. it's been years since we had a drop spreader. Good luck with it!
That's really impressive that it will zoom so far. I've seen you zoom in towards the mountains before, but Venus is a little beyond that LOL. Thanks for sharing, Rusty!
Thanks! I've got my eyes on a Nikon P900, it's 3 times the zoom as this one, lol.
Wow, that is amazing to see, gives a true perspective when you zoom all the way back out!! Very cool!! 😁
Thanks, i don't get the back dot in the middle though, but maybe that's just the camera.
Lotsa zoomage
Amazing how hard it is to hold it steady even if you have it resting on something. I'd like to get one of those super zoom Nikon cameras.
Evening Rusty. That's better than my phone and the moon!
Even Ed, we've been socked in with clouds and fog the last week, still waiting on some more snow, none at the house yet. This camera has 25 times optical, but i don't know how much digital zoom. Have a good one!
Right on man! Can’t beat a free tractor!!
Its a Miniapolis Moline model M
Sorry model U
@@stephanusdutoit6050 Thanks!
Free is best price! But working on those old loader tractors is a real pain! I’m not exactly sure on the model, but looks like you got the information you need in the comments!
Thanks man, yeah, once the loader is off it'll be a lot easier to work on, the first thing will be to find a carb. If nothing else, it'll be a good reason for another video, lol.
Looks like an rti. Lot's of similarities to my r.
Thankyou!
Going off the pike nose grill it’s an RTI. Flat grill would be a ZTIS. Moline really liked their letters. Most of the common parts on it will be interchangeable with a regular R row crop tractors.
Thanks man, i will keep that in mind.
Pretty neat looking! I'm not very familiar with Molines either. Their models seem weird to me. Maybe it's just me. Hopefully you can find something out about it. Hope you have a good one, Rusty!
Thank you! Yeah, it's going to have to sit for another winter sadly, but ya-know how it is, so many old machines, so little time and money haha.
Free is always best!! Hopefully it's not too much of a project, if so, nice yard ornament anyway 👍 Flower pot 🤔 concrete goloshes..more likely 😅 Probably some old fart ran it until he died, climbed up over the back to run it every day... Good luck with it!!
Haha Thanks man! Concrete goloshes, lol. Yup, probably brought that thing out with him when he moved here. Ya, if nothing else, it looks good with the baler.
That's pretty awesome! That's the best kind of tractor to get is a free one. I wonder if that's not an rti. "I" for industrial. No clue though. We only had a Minneapolis Moline corn sheller
Oh ok, ya, it does have the industrial tires on it. I was looking at tractordata.com, and there's a couple similar ones there. Might be tricky finding a carb. I don't know, gives me another side project this spring, i'd like to be able to remove the loader intact if i can, that'll be the first project. Thanks!
I think it looks pretty good. What year is it?
Thanks! It's an 08.
The heat gun made a big difference on the bumper cover! It's looking good, I think it looks a lot better with the stock grille back on it. I think I'd just get a heavy duty relay and add a switch for the fog lights, the heck with going to the stealership. You're right though, about the bumper cover, now you have to do all the rest of the plastic too! Hope you have a good one, Rusty!
Haha, yup, it was kind of a puzzle putting all this together today. Yeah, it's already got a circuit for 2 led lights, so that gives me a good place to start. Thanks bud, have a great weekend!
Looking good Rusty!
Thanks Ed ! Have a good one!
Looks good! Gotta have some fun. The heat gun method works good but we haven’t had the greatest luck keeping it super shiny. It definitely looks a lot better than it did before but not quite as good as just finished. The plastic must get a little shine after it’s warm apparently. Glad you’ve got a stock grill lol. The angry jeep isn’t my favorite look but think that’s just cause it’s black plastic. Body color would help the look immensely. Hope to see more videos of it soon!
Thanks man! Yeah, i'm hoping this Chemical guy's stuff will hold it for a while, it still looks pretty good after a couple days. I like it a flat color and not shiny, my grille guard is shiny and i'm not sure if ii like it, i had to bring it in the house and it's still tacky, lol. Yeah, i'll make a video when i get it all together, hopefully this weekend.
Nice looking Jeep! A friend of mine has one very similar to it, his still has the stock grille and bumper but it has different wheels and tires. Didn't know about the heat gun trick, that's neat! I bought one of those headlight polish kits for the suburban, it's still sitting on the work bench under a pile of crap. One of these days I'll try it, I think... Hope you have a good one, Rusty!
Thanks! If all the lights show uo this week, i'll try and put it all together next weekend. I tried one of these headlight kits a while back on my truck but i didn't do the rough polish enough so hopefully i can do a better job this time.
It's not right hand drive, or did you give up the mail route? Nice ride!
Ya i left the mail route and i sold all the jeeps in 22, but i've been having wrangler withdrawals. Thanks!
You're a gluten for punishment... Lol.. heat guns work pretty good for fixing up the newer stuff. Glad you're happy with it so far!!!
Haha, it's funny, one of the shops i go to, one mechanic loves them, the other, hates them. Thanks! Yeah, the heat gun did good, there's tons of videos on this stuff.
She's a beaut Clark.
Thanks man! I'll do a vid of the finished product.
Welcoming sound! It’s bone dry here too, I’d like to here that sound too!
Yup, super dry year this year!
That’s a beautiful sound, Rusty!!!
Sure is my friend!
It does remember how to rain.
So nice!
Good morning Rusty ☕☕☕ A little Eddie Rabbit comes to mind... "I love a rainy night..."
Haha, yeah!
hey man, it's awesome that you did this experiment yourself. I wish more people would! Now the next question you must ask yourself is why is this not widely known? It almost seems like our world is much more strange and mysterious than the powers that be would want us to think! Check out a book called Confusion in Christianity by Miguel Stephano
Thank you! I was hoping others might try this themselves and make a video but i guess people are not that interested. It is off topic for my channel so,,, will look for that book, thanks!
Because we live on a stationary flat earth, and the sun and moon are their own different type of light sources. The sun is positive and moon negative. They are rotating above us. We are not spinning, nor orbiting the sun.
I'm starting to look into all that stuff, it's fascinating, i've got a whole new book list going, haha, thanks!
Hey Rusty! I hope you get some rain soon…I planted some wheat on Friday, but we’re pretty dry right now and it’s probably going to need a rain to get it going. None in the forecast. Packers here bring gold prices. Thanks for sharing, Rusty!!!
Thanks! I hear that, maybe people rent them, i don't know, oh well, we'll see what happens.
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 I made mine out of single wall culvert pipe and concrete. A little bit of work but way cheaper than a real one. I'd loan it to you but it's probably not worth the drive LOL
@@evanaustin2636 I remember that, darn, i could have made one early in the summer.
Tough to make anything work when it just doesn't rain
That's for sure! At least i'm getting a little dew now, thanks!
Good morning Rusty ☕☕☕ It is growing 👍 hopefully it all comes up!
Thanks man! Some you can't see because they are fine hairs, lol Guess we'll see what spring brings.
That is a beautiful combine
Thankyou!
Dang it DU I thought I'd never hear from you again. Apparently I had become unsubscibed . Then an old 33 vid popped up and hey there you are ,missed hearing from you buddy!
CE!!! Good to see you're still around! Well, i'm kinda runnin out of things to make videos on. I think i've made a video on just about everything i do so... I was wondering how your truck project worked out.
@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 the ford is running and driving, I put the bed off my red truck and painted it,drove it for a couple weeks and that transmission had a spun bearing so in went another transmission. Now I've bought a jeep liberty just to beat around in. That cummins runs great don't think I'll change anything. Good to hear from you!
Happy belated birthday I was born in 1963 to
Thankya sir! Cheers!
Boy you're going to have to have class and explain it to me. That's wild.
Haha, well, the problem is i can't explain it. Why? How? i don't know, lol
That is wild!!! I never would have guessed that. Thanks for sharing this, Rusty!!!
Haha, ya i know, when i heard that i thought, no way, i gotta test this out for myself.
Interesting 🤔 I never would have thought that. Thank you Rusty!
Thanks Ed, crazy, i wouldn't have believed it. I mean, it's only 4-5 degrees but still.
Boy thats an end of an era on the combine but its definitely not fun just to let them sit! What year did you buy the combine? Was it 2015ish? hopefully you get some rain, we actually have gotten nearly out of the drought this year.
That's great news for you guys, i saw ag wild's crops looked pretty good this year. Yeah i think it was the spring of 15. I'll be surprised if it does sell, but at least the opportunity is open if anyone is interested. It was like talcum powder out there, i almost got stuck, i have no idea how deep i planted either, i put the drill down just far enough to activate the gears. I probably should have just waited till spring to plant.
I saw your Craigslist ad for the combine. I knew whose it was the instant I saw it because I watched you go through it. Too bad about having to sell it but I get it. Do you still have the pull type?
You must be close to me somewhere. I sold the Dearborn about 3 years ago now, i was hoping they would keep in touch but i never heard from them. Thanks man!
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 No, I'm on the other end of the state but I like to keep an eye on craigslist.
Dusty Rusty ..lol.. we've had a few things for sale too.. no bites on the combine, a dozen calls on the hopper trailer, only one looked.. 4 calls on the swather.. and they're all still here 🙄 Hopefully you have a good crop next year!!
Thanks Ed, yeah, i learned if i get a lot of calls, my price is too low, lol. It's a dust bowl here, they were saying we were gonna start getting some rain next week, so i planted, and now they say, not really,,, sheesh! Maybe we'll get snow instead, lol.
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 lol.. and no calls at all if it's too high. Got a good heavy mist this morning. Some day the sky will fall...
Hey Rusty, man you weren’t kidding that’s dusty!!! I hate to hear about the combine being for sale but I get it. It’s no fun to see them sit. I hope you get some rain to get your seed started. Take care friend!!! Hope you have a good one!!!
Thanks Evan! Yeah, about 8 inches of powder, lots of spinning, almost got stuck, lol. Planting by brail, i had no idea how deep i was, or sometimes where i was, had to stop a few times and wait so i could see. We'll, see, should be interesting, if it comes up i'll make a video. Have a great weekend!
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 If you were closer (a lot closer) I'd be really tempted to take the combine off your hands...I'm not sure where you're at but from here to Spokane is about 2000 miles...little farther than I want to haul a combine LOL
@@evanaustin2636 Haha, ya that's a bit far, although, it probably made that trip when it was new to here. There weren't any Oliver dealers over here. I'm 30 miles north of Spokane.
Good morning Rusty old man!!☕☕☕ Regular boat ferry, or is it on a cable? Our garden didn't do 💩.. Dang, you're a couple years ahead of me.. Happy Birthday!!!!
Haha thanks man, no it's not on a cable, and it's free! Yeah, i gotta get my spuds figured out, maybe raised beds or something, darn gophers! The river is down quite a bit but still huge, thanks for being here!
@@rustyoldmicrofarm4673 you are welcome! Hit 58 in June.. always figured we were pretty close in age.. Nice 👍 I've only been over a couple of cable ferry's. On the Willamette. A little spooky when the river is high and you're on it with 3 loaded semis.. try closed it right after we crossed.
Happy birthday Rusty
Thank you sir!
Morning, Rusty! That is really a beautiful area you're driving through. I'd love to see the northwest someday. That ferry ride was pretty neat! I didn't realize that the Columbia was that big. I'm glad you're doing well and feeling good, that's good to hear. Happy belated birthday as well! Thank you for bringing us along, Rusty! Hope you have a good one, friend!
Thanks for being here, ya, the river is down quite a bit, where i was walking is usually covered so i got a long beach walk in.
That's some awesome scenery! Looks like you had a good ride! Thank you for bringing us along Rusty!
Thank you! I didn't have the camera on a couple times i wished i did. One was these gorgeous purple flowers in the middle of a burn spot. The second was when i was goofing off doing a brodie and dumped it upside down. The third was, there was this real steep trail to the top we had to go up, and then back down, but yeah, had a blast! It was good to get out and away from the worldly world and in the real world, lol. Thanks!
Looked like a fun time.
Ya, i had a blast, thanks!
Good morning Rusty ☕☕☕ Nice ride!! Beautiful scenery too!!!
Good morning, rode for about 5 hours, lol, kinda sore, but worth it, thanks!
