Testing the new model BushCraft Chopper. This was made of 5/16 inch L6 steel reclaimed from a 6 foot tall paper mill circular blade. The handle material is Black linen micarta. It is a beast. I am testing it on a live hardwood tree and not swinging it hard. Nice and easy to control the cut in a safe manner.

Here it is two years later. I have a homemade wooden plow that sits on my bucket and a rear blade but I mounted a 2 inch PVC pipe on the bottom which allows me to drag it over my gravel drive and some of my lawn without causing any damage. Great build and nice job of snow plowing. It does amaze me how there is always someone that is gonna tell you about pushing snow across the road. I push snow across but I always clean it up. I guess it helps that I'm a retired cop and my neighbors all like me.

Nice tractor. Like the sound of the engine. Does it have a foot throttle.? That would be handy. Not allowed to push snow across the road or get any snow on the road here in PEI. Have a good day. What is the model number of the tractor. ?

Works much better if you take the loader off and mount the truck plow to the tractor. Lift and angle all with the loader controls. I switch back and forth between loader and snow plow as needed. Plow, steel and couplers cost under 1000.

I have a Dodge Power Ram plow truck. So I have that covered. But it can only lift the snow a foot or so. My tractor can push the snow up to 7-8 feet high with the loader attachment.

Take the loader off. Mount plow to tractor. Use Hydraulic controls from loader to lift and also pivot. Way to far in front of tractor.

I used my truck with a V plow, excavator with a skid steer bucket attached, and a wing on the boom as well, and a tracked skid steer today to make more room, and then shook out some sand on the hills. Not sure what's coming, rain I hear then a few inches of snow on friday. Yeah I think we are in for another decent amount of snow soon but maybe not.

    • @bladescrounger3266

No....just drop the blade down and the weight of the plow keeps it down. The original Myers plow frame lets it pivot side to side. allows for variations in height of the suface it is riding on.
