German Thistle Pipes & Drums airing the bands new Medley - Jan 2024 in Bremen The quintet would place 2nd overall in the finale event - remarkable considering how new this set is! And yes, that is myself sitting watching from the first row seats.. no pressure on the stage guys!

Final competition of the 2023 German season, victory march off the field. Tuning and camera work by Keegan Bagpiping (due to shoulder injury). The band had a fantastic first season in 2023.. at Trebsen winning 1st place in the Grade 4 March contest and debuting a new medley also (2nd in both the Grade 3 and Open Medley contests).

German Thistle Pipes & Drums second competition of its debut season. The band competed in the Grade 4 march competition winning 2nd place as a band, in piping and drumming too! What an amazing beginning to this incredible journey..

Captured 6th May 2023 @ 11:10am in Stadtpark Peine was the band´s debut performance. Tunes played: The Garb of aul Gaul The Battle of Killikrankie The Dawning of the Day The Music of Spey The band would finish in 5th place from 13 competing, with a 3rd place finish in piping! Hope you enjoy!

Well done! I've heard the timing of the E and F exaggerated in measure 2 and 6 of the last part of Farewell to the Creeks so the E is extra long and the F is quite short. Is this also acceptable?
Thank you Luke! The E played is a crotchet (1/4 note) and the F a quaver (1/8 note) in those bars.. as is written.. you might be picking up on the E being the Medium Pulse in the 1st and 3rd phrases.. the F is played on the upbeat
