Chopin - Waltz Op. 70 No. 3 in D-flat major
One of Chopin's three waltzes of Opus 70. It was inspired by the young singer Konstancja Gładkowska, with whom he fell in love when he was 19 years old. The Waltz was not intended by Chopin for publication. This is a miniature intimate poem, which he apparently wanted to hide from the public.

Bach: Italian Concerto In F Major, BWV 971: I. Allegro
Переглядів 6543 роки тому
A new genre of concert for clavier music, the creator of which is rightly considered I.S. Bach, arose on the basis of transcriptions for the clavier of Italian violin concertos (primarily by Vivaldi). It is interesting that almost all of Bach's clavier concertos (7) were originally created as violin concertos, and only then were transferred by him for the clavier. The main result of the compose...

Tchaikovsky - Nutckracker: "March Of The Toy Soilders"
Переглядів 7443 роки тому
"March of The Toy Soldiers". In this funny and cheerful miniature, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, with a great sense of humor, drew a military parade in which little wooden soldiers march to the sound of miniature drums and flutes. Despite the lightness of the sound, the clear music reflects the brave and determined toy warriors who harmoniously strike a step on the parade ground. - Click the 🔔 to g...

Beethoven - Pathetique Sonata 3rd Movement: Rondo (Allegro)
Переглядів 1,5 тис.3 роки тому
It is usually considered that this is one of the few works of Beethoven, named by the composer himself. However, its name - Grande Sonate Pathétique - was given to the sonata by a publisher impressed by its tragic sound. Nevertheless, this name was quite consistent with the tastes of Beethoven and received his approval. - Click the 🔔 to get notified of new videos. - If you like the video, pleas...
Rachmaninoff - Italian Polka (Arr. A. Siloti)
Переглядів 18 тис.3 роки тому
Sergey Rachmaninoff was on vacation in Italy. One evening, street musicians approached the holiday villa where he stayed. An Italian with a cane, his wife, child and a wonderful donkey. They were carrying an old mechanical piano as a load, which in its structure resembled a large street organ. A woman could easily start the piano, and then it began to play amazingly colorful music. The man sang...

Why is it so hard to sing "edges", "imperfections", "beginning" and "winning" in "love your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections... You're my end and my beginning, even when I lose I'm winning"? I just don't understand, I can't figure out the right note, it should be lower than the previous ones, but not too much lower. I found multiple piano versions and all of them have a different interval for those words. Any advice?

А в чем тут аранжировка заключается? В увеличении темпа в 1,1-1,2 раза и в выкинутом кусочке мелодии на моменте примерно 0:53?

Did you use pedals for this piece? I will be performing with this piece soon. Some places use pedals, some do not. What is the original?

I know it's been four months since you wrote this comment, but I'll awnser. The awnser is NO. In none baroque music should a pedal be utilised. It's like a "clean" and "straight" song. 😃

...when I took piano lessons in my yout' I saw Czerny as boring exercises...I wish I'd had recordings of his etudes to listen to and change my mind/give me a new perspective...I did all the Hannon books before graduating to Czerny's books - the old Geo. Schirmer yellow paper back books so well known to us kids in the 50s & 60s...same with Bach's 'Inventions'...

This speed feels just right to me. Be it slower it would be hard to recognize music as a whole. But I know for many it's the opposite, especially if people have heard different, slower interpretation many times and get used to it.
