I’m here with ya man! Got diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 18. I was handicapped for the first year mostly. But I discovered the more I walk, lightly exercise, and better food I eat the better I feel. I wasn’t able to get up much, I was bed ridden-not realizing resting is what made me hurt so much. I started working as a cook and couldn’t do it, easy too much pain. I tried serving and felt so much better. Now I clean pools in the Texas heat, stretching lots and staying hydrated and also full of good vitamins and food.

My Fibro has gotten so much worse over the last few years living with an elderly parent and having that stress and just doing more things for two people now and her dog, etc.. I love my mom, but some days I can't wait to just be by myself again. Stress definitely makes pain worse. I've been to more medical doctors in the last few years over things that most people wouldn't find that painful, but for me the pain is amped up when a tendon hurts or I get bursitis or other arthritic changes with normal aging and wear and tear. I need to use my portable sauna more. That really helps. Take care! You aren't alone. Thank you.

Ive always tried to not feel sorry for myself and just keep pushing through the pain. Then one day i thought, if someone i knew was in this much pain every day I would sure feel sorry for them and do everything I could to help them. So why wouldn't i take the time to help myself. Since then i have had some amazing healing. I have DISH and fibromyalgia but at 56 years old I feel better than I have in the past 30 years. Take some time to love yourself bro, try some meditation and try relaxing into stretches rather than force it.

Thank you. I really needed to hear this today's.im Begining to recognize the difference between people that speak, and those that act. If the words don't match the actions there's nothing in it for you. But now I've got to redact almost 20 years of love given to an empty void.
