Sir ı have toshiba rt-100s but casette recorder don't work why how work?
I have this one. I don't remember who got it for me at the time, but I used to listen to my records on it as a teen. My version is more a bright orange though. Also, the arm is missing a pin at the articulation and i have no recollection why. I've been looking into repairing it lately, putting a new pin will be easy, but I don't even know if the needle needs changing. i'll have to locate my old records to test it, since it hasn't been in use since the late 80s xD Possibly it's just the arm that was broken, but since I switched to CDs in the late 80s I never went back to it. Then I remembered recently I had it stashed somewhere. It became vintage while I wasn't looking… like me xD

My first hifi! I still remember my excitement buying it. The dubbing to cassette was so noisy it was virtually unlistenable. I never worked out if it was poor design or just a fault with mine.
"Hifi" is being rather generous. Matsui were real bargain-basement stuff. Down there with Crown, Lloytron, Amstrad and Alba.

It seems finding a working high end system of that day are not easy to be found these days. I would have to say most of them are in the landfill because they failed due to the overly complicated parts that were hard or impossible to fix, along with most if not all specialized parts being No Longer Available (AKA NLA)
Plenty of late '80s hifi separates out there on EBay. I still have my Yamaha set up (AX-500, KX-500, TX-500 & CDX-810) and last year bought a full Technics seperates system (amp, CD player, twin cassette deck, tuner), including linear-tracking record deck for £50.
