As someone who has lived in NYC and NJ all his life, would Lynchburg be ideal for me? I'm looking for a more quite, serene life.
Well I lived in the Bronx for a year and Westchester County NY for 2 years and, in general, I'd say NY and NJ are going to be more "fun" insofar as having more commercial opportunities e.g restaurants, malls, concerts, entertainment in general. However, if you're looking for better cost of living, more nature, quaint / smaller town feel, then Lynchburg would probably be the way to go. If you'd like to talk over the phone about it, I'd be glad to help out. Here's a link to my calendar app to schedule a call: calendly.com/jonathan__powell/google-meet-call
I LOVE to hike SO much but I am terrified to do so in the wilderness of Virginia because of copperheads😩😩🙄
DONT! we moved out of Waldorf in 1993 and Maryland when it started going bad. Best decision we ever made. Now we are large landowners.
So what she didn't tell is all crime in Waldorf gang violence shooting stabbing Robbing I lived here in Charles county 8 years im ready to leave
Not a bad video but her grammar could use a refresh! She failed to mention the nicer French restaurant in town. I began to wonder if she really grew up here and truly didn't know that in 2002 the little diner on the corner was formerly known as "The Round Hill Diner"! Typical realtor looking to get their name out and make a buck. Round Hill is truly wonderful despite the realtors attempting to do their best to sell, sell, sell! One final thought, you can fish at Sleeter Lake.
Can tell he hasn’t lived there long,…customer services up and down RT 50 is the norm for jobs in Easton. Waterman is a dying job, Farming is the big business, And you forgot Oxford and Tilghman Island
Congratulations 99😊
Super informative video, appreciate this!
Thanks! Are you thinking about moving to Easton?
Hardly any snow!
Stay out of Ghent commons 😢 zero law enforcement, speeding and ignoring the stop signs all day long 😮
Used to take my motorcycle down to Colonial Beach stop and chill play Keno
Very important to note that the town government is NOT LGBTQ friendly, nor is it considerate of people of color.
I didn’t know Maryland was a haven for the blacks, they’re EVERYWHERE!
Yes we are.
Yep it’s lovely!
i guess we can't call still it the rural crescent with all the developments and data centers, but you can probably still get away with saying it's on the cusp
I love it here in king George. I’m originally from Dc. And I commute from here to PG county everyday which Take me about 1 hour. They are really building up here.
That city sucks! Please dont sugarcoat a turd. Its the most boring city in Virginia. The crime is on a raise. All of the college students hate being here to the point that transition to another city. Job market will keep you unemployed for years. Dont lie to everyone keep it a buck.
Heard it is a town it’s a hillbilly town it’s It’s back in the past they don’t like to build in it. I lived there for the day I was bored till I was 21 and it was bad.
No industry or higher paying jobs in Bedford. BWXT that he was talking about is in Lynchburg. Most better jobs in Lynchburg or Roanoke approx hour commute in either direction. It is a nice place to live.
This was a very informative video!!
Waldorf used to be nice. Waldorf has turned into Prince George's County. Good luck.
Bedford is a wonderful place to live and visit! Thanks for featuring us.
I use to live in Lynchburg from 2005 to 2017. I use to live on Lakeside near 501 near the shopping plaza on the corner. Sheets is right up the street. I love all the parks and trails. Especially the Blackwater creek trail. I hope to move back at some point.

it's over.
What do you mean?
wrong tho
very cool
Thank you for the video. I would like to hear a different perspective about Easton from someone younger as well.
Thank you Ashley 🫡🌄
I loved this! Really insightful and great questions asked.
Awesome! 👍
3 things why northern va should be avoided. 1. Higher property taxes 2. Inspection fees on cars. 3. Traffic is terrible too many people in that area For my last point. Va has car tax, high tolls and state tax. Is ridiculous.
I am so happy for my daughter’s growing family for finding the perfect abode in Petworth after beginning her dc years in high rises. Sounds like she is in your interview agent’s home very close to the veteran retirement federal land.
Bad idea! On moving to town of Bedford you get double taxed and there are no jobs and he keeps talking about Forest Virginia.
Six views! This was so well edited.
I’ve been researching the DMV for over a year and just stumbled upon Manassas today after reading an article and glad that I did.. being a Midwestern it’s safe to say the cost of living is very steep. I’m not looking to buy as of yet however I haven’t seen any 4 bdrm to rent less than 2k
😂 Someone should think twice before commenting. This is America.
That’s where I’m from. Someone needs a haircut and to hide the tattoos. This is the Eastern Shore.
Meaning what exactly? Nobody but people like you should live there? Horrible.
There are two Herndon locations per se, not to be confused. The town of Herndon has zip code 20170 and Herndon 20171 which houses HT companies. They are divided by the toll road. They are not interchangeable contrary to popular belief. Both have great places to live, easy commutes, close to airport and easy access to route 7, 50, 28, 66. It’s a perfect location, multicultural and tons of things to do. Trails, parks you name it.
Absolutely! You must be a local yourself!
Great Interview 👍🏼
Much appreciated!
Sounds like a nice place to live
Agreed!
Totally forgot to mention the local farms. That’s my favorite thing to do. Strawberry picking in May is amazing!
We'll have to give that a try! Strawberries are the best :)
Hey Brianna, what's your contact info? My family is looking to move to Waldorf or somewhere close in the next year or so.
Great job Brianna
Thanks Adrienne ❤
We love the DC Metro Area and we have great realtor partners like Reema on our team to help service the area! ❤
Thanks Zach!
