I have no experience in retail or customer service but I’m really good at makeup and good at talking to people and being helpful! My mall is looking for a product consultant and I think I’d be really good at the job, should I try to apply for the job or get another job and get more experience before trying to apply for it?

i love sephora and i want to apply for a job at sephora when im ready to start working again cause i think i could bring a more unique style of makeup to the store thats where i live and i wanna learn even more but i kinda have this adversion to buying or promoting products that are tested on animals and sephora has a lot of them ;; even their own brand is not cruelty-free...
