Katee Sackhoff was great as Vic. Tough and smart and loyal. The chemistry between the leads (with actor Robert Taylor) was formidable and could not be ignored even from the earlier seasons. We all saw what was going on between them. Vic was as tough as Walt, and they were always seeking to protect each other. That’s real love. Took them a while to meander through other relationships. Denying their attraction to one another was the main focus of earlier scenes. But it was always there. Two great actors taking care of each other in every scene they played together. Their generosity and respect for each other shines through. And it was beautiful to watch. I miss the show. I’m attached to these wonderful and flawed characters. Now what? It would be great if Netflix would renew the series. Other series have mimicked this show but without the beautiful chemistry of their two leads. Just wish Netflix would realize there is a huge fan base for the show. And more who have come to find it recently. Like me.

Katee Sackhoff is a marvel in this role. She really gave a great performance throughout this show. The two leads had great chemistry together and it was great to see her character grow. She needs to work again with Robert Taylor. Too much chemistry between these two fine actors to not allow them to continue these roles. It’s obvious they are good friends. I miss the characters. I had no idea this show and its cast would mean so much to me. Just discovered Longmire on Netflix this year. I’m upset this cast is not together and this show earned no Emmy nominations. This series is the new standard by which all police procedural and westerns will be compared. And it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen on Netflix. I miss these characters. I want the series to continue. Nothing on television draws you in like Longmire. Thanks to the actors, writers, directors, crew, and everyone involved in making such a fine series. I have my favorite scenes I watch over and over again. The scene where Vic and Walt are sitting at the bar and she takes his beer. She tells him about good girls and bad girls and who she identifies with, and then waits for him to say something on topic. She looks at him expectingly and waits. Walt then utters in complete man speak: “That’s my beer.” This moment is so telling of Walt’s personality. There are many Of these moments in this series. No other series takes the time to develop the characters as this one did. I’m mourning the loss of this show. Bring it backNetflix! The actors are older and so are the fans. But they still have more stories to tell.

Katee Sackhoff deserved an Emmy for her acting in this show.

Shailene was fantastic in this. Her character kinda reminded me of Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs, troubled, good, badass (old school but not the Hollywood SJW type) and wanting to do the right thing and it truly shows, especially in the last act. I wish Shailene would do more serious roles like this.
