    Community driven responses so important where i live. Community here is defined as authorities in the community, not the community members impacted by what these authorities decide is best for us. These authorities also define success according to their own self stated views of success. Those who are impacted by the services are rarely included or informed about the process that defines success, so they are not aware of how to weigh in. This is the description of oppression. This is also why we never succeed in a way that helps those who need it.
