Why we are multiplying all the terms in j c model.
Because it shows coupled effect.
@scienceandtechnologybygaya3535 Thanks 🙏
Hello Ms. Gayatri... In case of crash simulation, is it enough to use the JC model for the material model? because JC already represents multilinear plasticity. Or do we still have to include multilinear plasticity data? Thanks.
I do not know about multilinear plastic data.
The video was awesome but please tell how can we find the D1,D2,D3 from the Stress strain or true stress strain data using the Gradient Descent Algorithm. i have seen your video ua-cam.com/video/F8BQNm-zYSM/v-deo.html but you did not tell how find the D1,D2,D3. please if you make any video or have the link please share thanks.
I have given a gitgub link in description box. If you want you can use that algorithm.
Thank you
@Gayatri Bajpai madam you have done this calculations on the whole stress-strain curve. Since this model is mostly used to model the strain rate and other mentioned effects in the plastic, will it be ok if we confined our calculations for the plastic region of the stress-strain curve. Doing so will also improve the regression coefficient value.
Sorry, I did not get what exactly you are asking
Madam I am asking what if we restrict these calculations only in the plastic region of stress strain curve?
Thank you so much ! Wonderfull video !!!
Thank you
please make videos on how to write the UMAT codes for this type of models
I need your help. In optimization of johnshon cook model .. If please can you help Me
Please Check discription, I have uploaded code for optimization which I used.
good vdo , thank you
Thank you, could you pls make a video on Johnson-Holmquist mtl model for ceramics
Thank you, It is difficult to define the parameter in Johnson Holmquist. Required experiments to find the parameter are very difficult. I will try.
Would you like to collaborate?
Which type of collaboration?
perfect,Thank you so much
thx very helpful,save my life,thx
maam can you tell me how to add cowper symonds parameters in ABAQUS CAE
Abaqus, I don't know. You can try LS Dyna.
Thanks for this video. 👍
Thanks for the visio, Can you share your excel work sheets for all the parameters for JC model, including damage parameters , Thanks in anticipation...
@ Gayatri Bajpai.. Thanks for your efforts and making these suppurb illustrative videos. I have one question, you just used half equation of that used in paper , What about the remaining part? Thanks in anticipation
Half equation means
understood, and hence subscribed. Thanks
Hi Gayatri.. How r you all? This is Praveen here from Bangalore... 23162, UIET..
Hi Praveen, nice to see you after a long time. we are fine here. Video made by my son. Are you in DRDO?
Please Like ❤
you are like mother Terisa to me. Thank you
make a video on concrete damage plasticity also if possible
Please help me to model HJC in abaqus with parameter
Do you have parameters
Yes i have
@@KCloudEduKIENTHUCTONGHOP then I can tell you, how to do analysis in Abaqus
Hello Ms. Gayatri, I'm student 4th from HCM University of Technology and Education in Vietnam. Thanks for your video, this video was very helpful.
Thank you
hey can you please share which paper are you using as ref.... i will be grateful
I have given the paper link in the discription box
Thank u madam....👍
That explained really well ma'am. Can you please make a video on how to write the Matlab code for the damage model to find the effective fracture strain, if possible?
Thank you very much for such a clear explanation. Can you please share the referred journal paper?
Thank you for watching my video. It's given in description box.
Thank you very much for the video. In the calculation of parameter C, do we need to consider A, B, n values for each strain rate separately or A, B, n will be the same as calculated from the reference strain rates?
Thank you for watching my video. A, B, n will be same.
Mam what is the difference between Johnson cook and hashin damage material failure criteria?
damage material failure criteria used when material is having cracks, holes or any damage and then test it for high strain rate. Johnson cook is used for without any pre cracked material's high strain rate experiment data.
In short Johnson cook material failure criteria is applied for ductile materials and hashin damage is for composite materials Is that correct?
Hello mam, Actually i have to defined Johnson cook damage constant values for steel 4340 in ansys but there is option of Johnson strength only but not for Johnson damage constant
Where the option shown, I mean which software
It's ok mam problem has sorted out
This is a very useful video! I learned a lot with your detailed explanation and I could find the J-C parameters for my experimental material data combining your method with optimization in programming code. Thank you so much and great work!
Thank you
Hello, how do I access a form Cowper-Symonds model using an Abaqus?
You can write your own code in VUMAT.
thanks for your detailed explanation
amazing, thank you. Would it be possible to get any information for the determination of Johnson Holmquist Ceramic parameters? I am finding it difficult to find references of the breakdown.
Thank you for watching my video. I am currently working on that. When I gain confidence, I will created a video regarding JH parameters evaluation.
kindly keep video if you have idea on determining material parameters for Johnson Holmquist progressive damage model for ceramics. especially determining T, A and N of intact strength equation.
Okay, I will try
Can you also make a video about Mat Johnson Holmquist concrete ,?🤗
very good explanantion!
Thank you
Thank you for your clear explanation...
Thank you so much
Thank you, ma'am! this is the best explanation I have ever watched about how to calculate material parameters from test data. I anticipate more of your videos about similar topics. thank you lot!
Thank you so much
@@scienceandtechnologybygaya3535 hi ma'am, I have a little question here after I watched the video: how to choose the reference parameters, such as reference temperature, reference strain rate?
Hello and thank you for this video it was extremely helpful for me! Question: Why wasnt the linear curve equation not forced with an intercept of 1 for Thermal softening ?
Thank you
great explanation...
Thank you
Hi Gayatri i watch your video but i am not understood find parameter? and how to gate the table ?
Thank you for watching my video.
what should be the value of n for concave upward curve
Thank you for watching my video. For that you have to go in mathematics and check how the graph will be looking by changing the power. You can also check through excel by putting trendline.
Thank you very much for the very good explained video. I have a question about the definition. Is the strain rate of ε ̇0 defined as the strain rate at(of) 1 s-1?
This is the reference strain rate. Generally, minimum strain rate take as a reference strain rate in strain rate range choosen for experiment. If minimum strain rate is 1 / sec. in your strain rate range then can take as a reference strain rate.
@@scienceandtechnologybygaya3535 Thank you, you give me a wonderful lecture.
hi, could you please explain about material triaxiality
ua-cam.com/video/F8BQNm-zYSM/v-deo.html
Stress triaxiality explain in the following video.
Thank you very much. I am doing my university dissertation in the UK and I must let you know that you have saved me hours of frustration trying to find out how to use the Johnson Cook model. This was the only source I found that helped me and I have referenced you in my work.
Thank you so much
Dear Madam, it is a wonderful lecture. I have learned so many things. One thing is not clear that whether we have to conduct testing at different strain rates along with different temperatures for determining 'm' value or we just have to keep the same reference rate of 1/s at different temperatures?? Please clarify this doubt.
Thank you for watching my video. You can keep same strain rate for different temperatures value. And also you can do for different strain rate too. Suppose, you are having three strain rates and three temperatures value then you can find three m values for three strain rates. And you can do average of these three value. Or which one will give you very close results for experimental values. That you can take. Similarly, for 'C' parameter.
Clear, thanks for sharing ji
Thank you
Thank you so much! Easy to understand.
Thank you
Awesome video Madam. Nice 👍 explanation
Thank you very much
Ma'am, can I implement the same for compression samples? I am having data for samples tested under compression
Thank you for watching my video. Yes, you can implement for compression samples.
