Thanks for sharing.
Walking this in September with my Labrador, glad UA-cam recommended this. Great work, thanks for putting it together!
I'm waking the pennine way in three sections. in august is my final section from alston to kirk yetholm. it's lovely looking back at al the beautifull landscapes i've walked through so far, with the most memorable places being pen y ghent and high cup nick
Was great to watch Dan
Superb - sums up the PW perfectly. I did it in 2013 - happy days
Dark stained rocks, flat featureless horizons, miserable wet northern towns, satanic mills haunted by the tortured souls forced to work for nothing until their tiny hands bled and broke. Piss wet £15 aldi tent shat on by gypsy feral dogs in the night. Looks lovely.
Magic unicorn 🦄 you know it brother 😂🤣😂🤘🦇
Great memories brother 🤘🦇
Amazing stuff Dan! Thats one hell of a walk
Swaledale at last, my favourite part of the PW. So peacefull by the river, often visited and still hope to get back before I shuffle of this big rock we call Earth.
I too was greeted at Pen-y-gent with the mist, but by the time I reach the top it was a clear sky 360 degree view. Tony the Retired Hiker in Essex
At least I had the sunshine as I climbed up Malham Cove and the views looking south were fantastic. Thanks Dan for reviving long forgotten memories of my Pennine Way way back in 1976. Tony the retired Hiker in Essex
Really enjoyed the content, have you put the link for the only fans on? For the extra videos? I liked the one we did with the sheep 🐑 😅
When you gunna start selling merchandise? Are you gunna have a one dan and his tent t-shirt?
This is my favourite one its a shame its been overlooked, 👽
We should do a Collab, if you get what I mean 😉😏
Geat video and soundtrack, brought back memories to when i did 3 year's ago.
I remember doing this prior to joinng the Army way back in 1976, but the Original route went down the side of the Pub in Edale then up a stream (Grindle Brook) to Reach Kinder Downfall. Twelve days to complete it all the way to Kirk Yetholme. Loved it and I wish I could do it again now, sadly my hiking days are long gone now I am rapidly approaching my 68Th Birthday. Happy Memories of years gone by. Tony the Retired Hiker.
Nice video mate, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one and seeing you cross the finish line. Atb Shaun
Great video dude … do you need and new feet yet I’m going harvesting some tomorrow 😂🤣😂🤣
Size 11 please 😆
@@onedanandhistent I will post them 😂🤣😂😂
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Like 👍27
No waffle, that's the key, superb!
Superbly filmed, great editing, subscribed. Fantastic, well done, thx for sharing.
Nice video 👍🏻 I'm enjoying following your journey, my daughter and I are starting the Pennine way at the end of the month, we're doing it north to south. I've done it before on my own, but I think I'll appreciate the company this time. I can't wait for your next installment, keep going...one foot in front of the other 👍🏻
Amazing video man! Some stunning views
Many thanks for 3 great videos - so many memories. No trail walk booked as yet this year - thinking of doing the Dales Way but cut across to Horton-in- Ribblesdale and then doing the 3 peaks (Pen-y-gent, Ingleborough and the Whernside) before getting back on the trail at Dent??
Thanks for watching, glad I could help bring back some memories for you. Sounds good, great area round the 3 peaks 👍
Another great video - I think the owl says something like "I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog as well!" - Wizard of Oz I think.
Enjoyed the video - many memories of my crossing Sep 22 (although the little bridge at 2:40 is after the road and farm we see in the next couple of shots - lol - local knowledge living near St Bees). Will be watching all 3 vids this weekend.
How’s the feet you magic unicorn 🦄
Mine or the toe shoes? 😄 both are good 👍
@@onedanandhistent both lol
Loving the adventure so far!
Well done Dan and a great video
Great video brother.. it was a great hike we need to do another 🤘🦇
Section hike of the pct Bend Oregon to Cascade Locks. Then trout lake to Whites Pass. The trout lake to Whites Pass section is the most beautiful part of the 1500 miles of the pct that I've hiked
Second idea would be to hike a 2 or 3 week section of the Sierra's.
Lovely mountain scenery
Beautifully shot video
What an Inanely beautiful video. Buddy how you only have 25 subs is a crime. Wish I could have joined you two. God knows Drew would have kept me entertained 😂😂 Will be sharing this video with some friends Papa Smurf
Thanks Eric, I appreciate the comment. Glad you liked the video
Hi Dan, nice vid. Congrats on completing the PW, good to see you and your mates. So what follows ? If you want some ideas you might like to see if you like the walks I've done. Cheers, Alan
I did this route in similar conditions.....The slope up to the summit of Carn Mor Dearg is a potential ankle breaker, thick heather hiding deep holes between large boulders..
What a beautiful part of the world 😍
Top marks really was a pleasure to meet you brother 🤘🦇
Have to do another one sometime 😎👍
Very good & congratulations on achieving your goal Dan
Thank you 😁
The sheep at the end haha, well done mate!
😄 cheers dude
Your new calling Dan
Awesome journey do you have any plans on your next journey or where it might be?
Thanks for watching. I'm thinking of taking on the pennine way, but don't know if that'll be this year or next
Looking forward to Part 2!
I really enjoyed walking with you brother 🤘
same here dude 😎
Great stuff! The lakes look beautiful
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It was lovely also that you didn't feel the need to fill the video with loads of talking.
Nice one! Looked like a good time.
Looked very windy. Nice video bud 👍
