Women have their past time which is socializing and seeking validation from external sources like social media, etc. and men have their past time which is playing video games and watching sports. Let's acknowledge our differences and be happy. As long as we are taking the time to spend the time with one another, and being respectful of the relationship, live and let be. It is what it is.

In a world, where BG3 costs 60 US$ (yes, I know that SW:O and BG3 are different genres, but still...), this is simply too expensive, compared to what you get. On a more serious level: One of the greatest - possibly THE greatest - things about fiction (litterature, computer games. movies, and role playing for that matter ) is that we get to view the world thru someone else's eyes. If we cannot do that anymore, for example by constantly stating that "I need someone just like myself to immerse myself in this ", then we have truly lost something very important as human beings. I have just finished reading "The Pillow Book" by Sei Shonagon, which is basically a series of observations about life at the royal court in Kyoto 1000 years ago, seen from the POV of a court lady, combined with tidbits of court gossip. But I don't get her reasoning: the male (and the few female) gamers were her fans and critizised Ubisoft for uglyfiing her rendered model; going Rachel Zegler and Brie Larson on them will cost her lots of approval for anything but fashion model jobs. I'm not sure that Ubisoft payed her enough to compensate for that in the long run.
