When I heard it, I knew I just had to cover it! Love it to bits~ I also get to fulfill my head canon that female Alastor has a deep voice hahaha, let me dream ya’ll 🥲
This beautiful work of art was made by the artist spongefruit (赤須坊) at Twitter (X).
They were so kind to create this piece just for this song, and even took the time to make female Alastor, both human and sinner version, exactly how I envisioned her. And just LOOK at those colors, the shading, the background, omg 😭. They’re so talented and kind, I implore you to check them out! They have a Twitter (X) and Bluesky, so I’ll make sure to link both (especially considering that they will probably move to Bluesky very soon, haha).

Some changes in the song that you may notice, and I will now explain haha:
- As you have heard, I did not add a radio filter throughout the entire thing. Although I love Alastor’s little quirk, I just feel like singing it “normally” for this cover makes sense, since he’s still technically human here haha..
- I changed a few words from the song, just because I felt that the alternative would have fit a lady Alastor a bit better (honey and darling instead of buddy, for example). I also added within the different voices a few changes in lyrics, to make it seem like the little devil on her shoulder was part of the song on occasion haha. I didn’t do it too many times, but I just thought it was necessary to mention.
- I added one more verse at the very end of the song. Essentially, I figured it would be nice to have Human Alastor and Sinner Alastor have a mini duet hahaha. Blame @sausage2099 for this haha, their remix gave me the idea. They added the first verse and the chorus at the end of the song, and it made me realize that the verses sounded pretty nice with the chorus melody haha. So I had a little fun with it!
- RATA, TATA, RATA, TATATA (also blame @sausage2099 for this haha)
I've also seen a surprising amount of Spanish versions of this song... I might just take a crack at it! Already have some ideas for the lyrics...

Hmmmm, valid points. There are two sides to everything and that's what I do believe this show does very intentionally and why I love it, nothing is binary, like this one is the absolut bad one or this the good one. I'm hoping that the reality check by living like Blitz lived to make Stolas realize this, and I think we've seen some of the starts for that in sinsmas, I want it to be like that because partly I don't think Blitz has the self-esteem to feel anything other than his own guilt. Because when in the hallway he says "You royals are all the same! playing with our feelings just because we are smaller and not as important!" Sounds too similar to "my little impish playing thing." But I don't even think Blitz is aware of that when he yells it at Stolas...but I do want these two to suffer a lot but end up together.

Can absolutely appreciate this version of the song look my way from Blitz perspective. For the longest time I felt to be one of the rare fans to understand and appreciate the direction of both Stolas and Blitz from different point of views in the show. The song look my way is beautiful but to hear this version is just as beautiful because it expresses great meaning and reason to justify both perspectives in their relationship with each other. For the longest time I felt fans were watching the show for Stolas and supported the show like it was only wrote in his perspective when really the dynamic is to see development across the series. Fans that understand both sides and don’t choose on right or wrong, genuinely are the true mvp of the show. Also, you can choose to prefer a character, but don’t just hate without trying to acknowledge a level of an understanding of the show and characters direction and arc, otherwise you aren’t a true fan and shouldn’t watch the show like an invested fan if y’all only choose one pov. The first season introduces the characters, the second season is about growth and arc, the third probably will reference more of family connections and healthy relationships and trust building and the last season whatever that will be there will more the conclusion and how far the characters, our beloved boys have grown as demons, and as relationships in confidence and love with themselves and their others. This isn’t about higher priority, it’s about the reality that shows that self acceptance is important and all demons we face have to be acknowledged and treated kindly and understood before lasting a long relationship so I appreciate the direction and that why I really like this version of the song.

As for Apple Music, I believe that the process of having that done is similar to publishing music on spotify- there are lots of things to consider regarding copyright and buying licenses in order for me to officially publish covers for streaming.
