Engine is all broken in and wanted to reach the 6lb limit before going to 10lbs next season. Did find out that the dipstick doesn't like to stay in the tube under 6 lbs lol

The last short downpipe was making the O2 sensor go all wonky due to fresh air getting in the pipe, so I built a longer downpipe to help with the Air Fuel reading. Now it sounds completely different and the throttle response is much more crisper!

The LS turbo Swapped Mustang's Engine and tune are playing nice with each other. Staring to chop nicely at idle. Maybe I'll up the Turbo Spring from 6 to 10 psi next season.

LS turbo Swap in a 2004 Mustang with the help of my Daughter. Today we got the car running and waiting on the new throwout bearing to be delivered.

It's a VS Racing 78 / 75 . I still have the 3.23 rear gears too, The Turbo loves the gearing as well.
@ what displacement engine and what aspect ratio turbine? I have a 5.3 and a glide with a tight converter, I’m trying to spread as much meaningful power across low gear stretched out to 75mph lol That spool is kinda insane
@ Running a 5.3 bored to 5.4 (332 CI) the Turbo is a .96AR, Cam is a .550 lift 222 / 232 with 112 LSA (SUM-8713R1) 243 Heads ported with a trunnion upgrade. The video is on 6 PSI, I am now at 10.6 PSI after break in. I will have more racing videos starting in May '25. Feel free to shoot me some questions. I'll help the best I can.

5.4LSX? Is 5.4 for the previous ford powerplant or have you punched a 5.3 out to 5.4?

@@Fordishperformance Gotcha, thats cool, conversion calculator said 5.44L, I bet you get asked a lot.
The cyl walls are crazy thick on the 5.3 iron blocks, i see folks taking them out to 4" , thats like what!? 0.220" over, i'd rather have the wall thickness but still that is nuts and a testament to why they boost so well.
@@stevenbelue5496 I think you can go all the way to 6.0L but that is cutting it too close for me. Its running well and saw its fist 1 lb of boost after initial break in today.
@@Fordishperformance yea 4.0" would be a 6L but im like you, thats pushing it a little to far for my liking. Id rather have it closer to stock bore and use boost to make up for my cubic inches.
