Is the Paintball Marker an Engineering Masterpiece? High-End Paintball Gear Explained!
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
Today's latest paintball markers are pretty incredible. They have features that allow them to be consistent while shooting paintballs accurately and quickly while avoiding the paintball's breaking inside the marker itself. In this video Fab dives in to explaining all of the paintball marker features that exist on the latest high end models! About our channel - "Fab" - A top ranked SnapshotVR pl...
Can we see an overview?
Could you send me that top down layout ?, or have a way for me to accesss it
When does 25 come for practice rounds?
Nice, Is this game good on pcvr!?
What is the age range for this?
Anyone! It is a bit of a younger crowd, but I definitely felt welcome too as an older enthusiast.
Yo fab I have played snapshot with you and you are a beast on the field l, but I have a question, where did you get your stock?
I make them! Hit me up on discord and I can make you one too.
@@fabplayspaintball will do
Love the content played snapshot with u
Add an N-charge to your hopper it's a game changer and makes it so much lighter
Where do you play most?
What’s this on?
Splitting hairs! First of aim on target that helps a lot. Withougt a barrel the markers equal eachother. Suficient length and borefitting will give the final touch to accuracy. I do give credit to PE with gamma core making it possible to shoot solid liquids intact. Monsterballs works good on mech and magfed guns but the dimples on them will swirl off trajectories. Thus paintball quality is the buzz killer as rentalfields allow only monsterballs (stored in bulk for several years)
Things sure have changed in 15 years
Lol 😆 was playing today and I was watching your videos is the installing about amps and those good installations of the audio system didn’t know about you playing paintball
…..we hope you’ve all enjoyed a dumbshit explains how he thinks a paintball marker works 🙄
The sped up snake crawling made me chuckle
Been waiting on an update like this for a long time! Can’t wait to see it! 💪💪
🔥 🔥 🔥
Nice video, will see you there next year. 👋
didnt mention how the gun is milled so much you could break it with little effort.
Never had an issue and my dives are pretty rough.
@@fabplayspaintball yea, give it a few years. Countless photos of bent planet eclipse guns. Engineering tho? Test the hardness and the tensile strength. Actually measure something. Are the bores sizes WITHIN spec? Then the real decisions begin.
How early did you register for the camp
A few months, if you are a BKi member you get early access to register.
When is the next bki event
Hopefully next summer!
Man, too bad you didn't show a gun designed by a fan of your other channel.
Wasn't aware I have friends that design paintball markers?
@@fabplayspaintball Well, reach out to Dye, because I'm the designer there and love your work!
@@ironyusa3885 I adore my Dye DSR and M3+ thank you for making stuff like this possible
In the beginning of the videos saw a few fast clips of an indoor field, is that power paintball?
Your video is excellent and should be used for all paintball fields and pro shops. No stone unturned
Thanks 👍
Great link for more animations. Been around for a long time. zdspb.com.
this guy has never seen a geo 4 before
Ok?
Dont mind me at 9:30
Lets go!
Man it’s already sold out for next year
The website hasn't been updated yet, you are seeing it oversold from when I went.
How much does it cost
I thought this was only for kids now I want to go! I don't plan on going pro but want to get better!
The kids that do go are killers. Super talented group this year and I am sure future years too!
I will say I can definitely tell a difference between getting shot by a rental 98s and people personal guns
The physics of a ball traveling at the same speed would make it not matter, regardless of marker.
New to your channel. Great break down on the tech. Wish I could have seen this video at the beginning of my start into paintball. Only been playing for two years. So much to playing. From playing technic/strategy, maintenance, good sportsmanship, field layout. The list goes on and on. The number one thing that I always empathize on to everyone new to the sport to old. Is first thing to even every pro team which that plays. Stretch, stretch, stretch! Limber up those muscles! My biggest lesson learned from ripping a calf muscle last year. Please emphasize on that. Definitely not mentioned enough.
Wait are u the fab in snapshot?
Yes, thats me.
I’ve been wanting to go to a BKI summer camp, but I feel that I’m too old (45 yrs old). Am I too old?
No, I’m 42 and have been to every single camp since it’s inception.
Definitely not too old. I had this fear too but felt completely at home. All the younger guys that go are very mature too. It's incredible how paintball kind of unifies us all.
Welcome to Boston!!
🙌🙌🙌
Great info Fab👍👍
This is awesome.
Hell yeah!
Great stuff!!
Let's go, Fab!
Great meeting you there Rob!
Regardless the markers got smaller you had the same 20 years ago. The only real thing where it has evolved is the tool-less designs (--> DLX Luixe to mention here) and (again) the size. My Angel LCD was electronic at the time timer, setting etc. My Impulse (around 2002) had eyes and my Reloader B fed more balls than a Spire 4 will ever do (and was sound activated). Not really has changed much ion the past 20 years to be honest.
We need a new vid
Tbh I would like to see u playing paintball n breaking down how u play something like a tip n trick video
Thanks for the input! Definitely!
My only issue is that gravity is in fact more then enough. But because balls jam as they fight to go in your get jams. Paintball zapper did a video avreging out how fast a stick feed can feed paint and it was over 20bps. But not practical to have a 200round stick coming off your hopper lol. Other then that great video, would love to see more
True, I'd like to try one of HK Army's new GFX loaders here on the channel. They are purely gravity fed but have a unique design that helps to prevent jams.
@@fabplayspaintball I have a valken v lite and empire splitter for pump. They use the same design philisophy. There good but the gog 100 gravity hopper stills beats them. My guess is the hk gfx will be about the same. Still quick change speed feed is nice.
Literally just watched all your old videos about sound deadening. So cool you're into paintball too!
Subscribed, love the content my g!
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate you.
Very knowledgable. Tons of information for new players. Hope this video helps some new players ^_^
Hope so! Thanks for tuning in!
Great video, I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a paintball veteran but I’ve been in the sport for a little over a year now and I just won my first ever tournament, great video keep up the good work
Heck yeah! Congrats my friend! That's a huge accomplishment. Keep going!
Really clear information. I’m going to start sending this to people before I take them for the first time. It’s be great if you did a video on etiquette, general safety rules, and maybe even your favorite game types. I hope this is the first of many videos of this quality, not many great paintball channels.
Great ideas for videos, adding them to my list now. Thanks for tuning in and I appreciate you telling your friends!
From an engineer that's also heavily involved in paintball and with other industry engineers, I'm glad to see this video. I wish more folks would be introduced to some of the highly impressive design, engineering and manufacturing that goes into making these big boy toys a reality. A point you made very well was how we can get something so fragile accelerated to such a high speed over a short distance, all in one piece. That right there is one of the most critical design targets, accompanied by some very trick engineering to accomplish that goal. Understanding the "hows" and "whys" to this engineering can really open your eyes to concepts you either didn't know existed or didn't account for previously. Here's a good channel I suggest you check out, and a video based on your marker: ua-cam.com/video/hqQC6au-ODI/v-deo.html This video will dig into some of the coolest engineering of modern paintball markers - the pneumatic side. Enjoy and don't limit just how far down the wormhole you go.
Thanks for the recommendation on that video, super cool! Yeah I'd love to eventually maybe have the opportunity to see some of the manufacturing first hand. They really are an engineering marvel!
