@@Lord_Viscerate stellar blade is a bad game? Interesting it's not perfect but the boss fights are incredible & monster designs were great. Not sure what your on about but hey everyone is entitled to an opinion..

@ The look and the music are both strong points, but that’s where it ends for me. The only plausible way to engage with Stellar Blade’s combat system, is by placing hits, in between the enemies attack sequence, while carefully responding to any incoming attack, with a parry. The enemies will finish their strings, regardless of how you time your hits and regardless of how many times you hit them. There are no jails, no tags and no juggles, because non of the basic attacks apply enough hit stun, to create a time window big enough, to allow you to string attacks together. This is a very basic principle, that most fighting games inherit, because it just makes sense, but Stellar Blade does not do this. Ironically, enemies do put enough hit stun with most attacks, so that they can jail you instead. That is why a proactive play style, is impossible to maintain consistently, without opening yourself up, to an attack, which will inevitably come your way. Any commitment to a combo, is futile, because any combo ends in a soft lock, in which you are most vulnerable. There also aren’t any cancels, no dash cancels nor jump cancels, that would allow any free style, that isn’t pre planned out, considering the attack sequence of the enemy. I would much rather play a fighting game, that respects my experience, than to commit myself to a game, that demands me to engage with its combat system, exactly the way it wants and not any bit different. There is no variation allowed, no creativity nor excellence. It is one dimensional, stiff and modular.

@Lord_Viscerate ah I see I see.. I feel like I need to go back and play stellar blade again and think more carefully how combat flows. It did seem rather annoying getting stun locked into bullshit sometimes.. I just thought I might've mistimed my dodges or parries.. probably not the best combat system but I still had fun with it.. I only played & finished it once and uninstalled it to be honest lol

@Ithegamer4 I don't remember how much experience between each level but it's fairly easy to level up without grinding.. you get a lot of souls to level up your weapons and your character.. what level is you're character so far & what area are you exploring? 🧐

Apologies the double doors can be accessed in the same room you enter that had the large elevator going up to the boss.. there's a shortcut elevator that will take you down to open the doors if I recall.

You get the Scythe weapon from another boss *Plagued Revenant* found in Ghost Town accessible in the Uranopolis area.. it'll be a helmet there you interact with that summons the boss fight... The weapon on my back is from the first boss Konrad..
