speaking from personal experience, the final boss of Ninja Gaiden 2. by FAR.
@@HarmonyWithHunter I will tell you a secret that I am not sure many know. If you play the game (Ninja Gaiden 2) as normal. Play to the last boss and defeat his first self (and perhaps one or two of the second "attacks") but then you die. Replay the whole last level and reach the boss again. The boss will be as when you last met him. Which can make the second and last time much easier!

yeah, the -2 oct only comes into effect in vintage mode. in the regular poly mode that knob just controls the range for when the -1 oct kicks in
