I sometimes find myself asking, why is it that I have such a knowledge and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ, and keep learning more every day, and yet so many in the world are lost in this darkness we see everywhere? I have friends, family, loved ones who believe in different gospels, be it JW's, or Mormonism, or even Islam, or Roman Catholicism... I sometimes allow frustration to get the best of me as to why something so simple, yet powerful, such as the gospel of Jesus Christ, is so hard for many to understand and the peace they could receive if they would give Jesus a chance to be part of their life.

It’s all about having a one on one relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ ! It’s not once saved always saved. There is a heaven and there is a hell. NOT everyone goes to heaven. Once saved always saved is a lie the evil one wants us to believe…. We daily have to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, our choices determine our destination! Choose who you will serve this day, God or man!!!

They don’t. It’s not a gift, at best it’s an admission that there’s nothing useful you can do. Statistically it has been shown that unwell people who know they are being prayed for, do worse than those that don't!

For me, I don’t want to flaunt my faith, there are times I pray publicly with other saints, but long gratitudious prayers in public alone, I just don’t want to look perfect.

It’s funny to see this because I was just telling a skeptic to dig in regarding contradictions. One thing don’t understand is the vagueness of the Hebrew. They don’t have the specifics as the Greek does. The word for Day can mean three or four different things and people want to fight over a literal 7 days in Genesis. Not worth it

Jesus went and preached to all those who did not know of him during his 3 days in the tomb. Showing us that everyone will get to accept, or reject Christ. Baptism is necessary, but the work has been done for the dead by baptisms for the dead also in the Bible.

The human brain will store a negative experience or emotion quicker deeper and longer than it will store a positive one. Maybe thats how we humans have learned to avoid certain situations that were bad for our existence or end our lives. I witnessed this while caring for a person with Alzheimers once. Maybe Jesus knew this as well so spoke about the danger to avoid rather than elaborating on the reward at the end?
