Переглядів 2,5 тис.7 місяців тому
#diesel #ford #powerstroke #chevy #dieselengine #duramax #dodge #duramaxdiesel Today I started my $10,000 build of my 7.3. I replaced my transmission with a built one from Black Shepherd Auto. I also added 180/30% injectors. Stayed tuned for the next parts of this build. The first hp goal is 500hp. Thanks for watching! I tried to keep the video as short as possible and show what all you had to do to take the fuel bowl off. Thanks for watching! #powerstrokenation #powerstroke #ford #dodge #chevy #duramaxdiesel #duramax #spaceship #diesel #dieselengine #america #mechanic

7.3
Do you know much he paid for the Cummins ? Thanks
13k
that’s dedication brother, staying up all night by yourself working on it love it🤝🏼 after seeing how your front end sat i’m definitely buying mine from zone offroad
Thank you! It definitely road nice after the alignment. You’ll enjoy it!
not going to see 500hp with 180/30s and a drop in
Looking to just get near that hp now. Planning to use this as the tow pig for another build. I got a couple things that will set me around 450-480. I just haven’t had the time to put the stuff on.
How much did the transmission cost?
3k with my transmission core.
NICE TRUCK MY BLACK BROTHER MORE CONTAIN MORE CONTAIN 💥💯
Thank you!
What do you do for a living to have access to a shop like that? Assuming you're still in your teens you're doing good for yourself. Stay consistent with the build and you will see how big you can grow especially because you do the work yourself and don’t pay anyone to get it done. You don't see much of that these days. Whatever you want to do is possible.
I used to be in the blue collar field till I got more invested in my school work. Don’t get me wrong there is a bunch of money in the trade field, but those 60-80 hour weeks while in school were not worth it. Money was good, but no matter the amount it never kept me happy for long. It taught me a lot, but the Lord led me to a different path. Currently finishing my last year and a half of college, so I can start my business. The shop is someone else’s I used to work for and I’m 21. Thanks for the support.
Also if you don't already have one you're gonna want to find a 6.0 trans cooler to put in. I'm assuming you've already got a set of gauges to monitor everything, so keeping an eye on that trans temp shouldn't be an issue. The factory coolers suck and will easily reach 200+F in the summer. Not far after that is when your atf fluid starts breaking down and then you can imagine nothing good happens after that lol. Keep that trans cool and with good pressure regulation (tubing) it will last forever. Best of luck to ya
I put a 6.0 cooler a week or two before I put the transmission in. It was this video. ua-cam.com/video/5tSks061INc/v-deo.htmlsi=FAuG8R43Pa5wAhfb
Are you new to 7.3s in general or have you owned this truck for a while now? There's not a ton of people on the forums these days but there are some decent FB groups you can still get good information from. I hope you don't have any issues with those injectors, FFD isn't what they used to be, back when they were known as Casserly. Lot of people complaining of poor quality control. Do you have an OBDII dongle and Torque Pro? After a couple hundred miles of driving when all of the air is out of the high pressure oil system I'd wanna look at ICP and duty cycle during some highway pulls..to make sure those injectors are holding ICP.
This is like my 4th 7.3 other than the 6.7 Cummins and the 6.7 Powerstroke I owned. I have learned a good amount about them. I have a cts monitor on it. The tuner is a hydra, but with custom jellibuilt tunes.
Stock injectors?
In this video yes, but I no longer have stock injectors.
Nice ! If you need any help or support let me know . i live for these trucks 💪
what cold air intake do you run? And would you recommend buying one?
I run a cold air intake from s&b. I definitely recommend it, I used to run the big 6637 on my 7.3 till I saw how much cooler the air was with a box. Heres the link for it: www.riffraffdiesel.com/s-b-7-3l-powerstroke-cold-air-intake-kit-99-03/
@@dieselsam would you say it’s worth the money?
100% worth it plus it makes the engine bay look better.
@@dieselsam any mpg gains from it. Trying to make my 7.3 as economical as possible.
I wouldn’t know because my foot is a little heavy 😂.
What turbo is looks good?
It’s a KC stage 2
Very informative great video!
6.0’s sound how 7.3’s should and 7.3’s have the reliability the 6.0’s should have
Yea I’m planning to build this truck for towing and a little fun. I should have another video up in the next month or so. Should be around 450hp with the two things I do to it.
6.7 sweet!
Nice!
😅😅😅
Sad turbo
I want to be like you!
Sick!🔥
Ok but one of ems knocking
No they’re not lol, thats the regular idle of a 7.3 with a KC stage 2.
@@dieselsam oh I know nothing about trucks tbh but they’re nice
Nice quad 👌🏼 I got the same 🙌
Thank you, one of the most powerful quad that I’ve owned from production.
I agree 👍🏼
A little under 30 lmao. That’s not even considered a chilly start here in Alaska.
It’s not a competition but last time I checked anything under 30 is freezing. I say that because I work in that cold weather laboring all day……If the truck is frosted it’s cold.
@@dieselsam sure sounds like your reply is a competition. I play in the snow down to -10 and work outside into the -20s. 30 isn’t a cold start. That’s why they say plug at 20….. carry on. Nice 7.3 btw.
@sackmatters A cold start is actually when coolant and oil is at a minimum level not the degree outside, temp outside does not matter you can research it online.
Clean. Just needs some more rugged tires
Where did you get the leveling kit from?
I bought the kit from sinister diesel. Here's the link: sinisterdiesel.com/zone-offroad-25-leveling-kit-for-1999-2004-ford-f250f350-4wd.html
Hey, how is the ride quality now with this kit compared to stock?
It actually rides well. The track bar is a must so make sure you put it in. After I got an alignment it drove straight. For a 2.5 lift if I had to do it on another truck, I would. I sold the truck and got a 8ft bed one that I’m building. I’ll post the update soon, I just have been very busy.
Sloppy video but quick video got right to the point. Not hating just some input for your next video.
Yea I’m just learning how to keep my phone steady. After re-watching it, I see what you mean. I’ll try and do better on the other videos I post.
