Hi look for a house that is NOT new! My 2000 house has mature trees 🌲 in Ocala!

Also, newer homes are junk avoid dr horton and lennar

Before the new Subdivisions are built, the area is cleared of all the trees and the ground gets leveled. Trees are later replanted, but they don't get very bit.

Medical care varies in Ocala. I have good and bad experiences with the hospitals, private practices and specialist. There are new medical facilities being built in many parts of Ocala. I am confident that you would find something suitable for you here or the surrounding cities. Do you plan on moving back? Would you like to see some of the new medical facilities?

Very good, plenty of choices. Two major Hospitals, Advent Health and Ocala Regional Medical Center. There are Emergency clinics everywhere.

With all the new residents, Ocala is looking different these days. It's not really a bad thing, but it's different.

It depends, Each ZIP has multiple sections, from not so nice to very nice.

The gated communities has small to medium size lots, for me a big lot is anything over 1 acre. 1 + acre lots are all over the country side of Ocala, a realtor can definitely help you find exactly what you are looking for. Good luck.

The prices varies, I saw new home ads with prices starting from $239. There are a handful of duplex in Marion Oak newer communities.

Surprisingly, the residents don't mind one bit. People that I spoke with, object to having the roadway paved in their neighborhood. The argument is that they get less people driving through the community.

@@aroundocala3885 Such a small town... wouldn't think traffic would be an issue.

@@stanwagner4788 Covid changed everything. Williston, Bronson, Archer, Ocala, Citra, Morriston, Summerfield and Anthony, were all cities with a small population. After covid, all of these small cities started seen rapid growth, and heavy traffic. Land prices went from $1200 for 1 acre of land to $21,000. Communities with affordable houses are popping up in all of these towns and causing traffic jams all over the place.

We still love the country feel of Clermont.

The country feel is everything.

It was one of our favorite places to shop for livestock.
