hello we're mudvayne sent me
It's been said before, often, and is probably pointless at this point. I'll say it anyway: Jon Theodore is a friggin genius, and i love this particular era of the MV
They were incredible
Crazy I was 11 when I first heard these guys and their music is timeless
Dude, could you please reupload this in a higher quality
24:43
I want to go back
why so manny f ads?
Peak the Mars Volta, IMHO
I’ve been listening to this set for two decades now, just coming up for air. The final section of Take the Vail KILLS ME every time.
11:32 perfeccion
Now that the teenie boppers found out about deftones and tmv is touring next year with them they're about to blow up like crazy im happy they're going to get the recognition they deserve
The slow build up in "Cicatriz ESP" from 45:10 to 48:07 when they go back into the song after that interlude where all of them explode in a chaotic and perfectly executed instrumental passage is proof they are one of the best bands that ever existed
Alwayys so lovely, everytime. Cedric and Baby Santana🥰
0666 Jordon Isle
Man, these guys couldn't remotely replicate their sound live, oh, unlike Mudvayne...
Let me guess... 'Hello, we're Mudvayne' was supposed to be an insult?
These guys suck
Best Mudvayne concert ever.
I wish Cedric and Omar sounded as good as they do today when they still had the best fucking lineup. This still rules.
The editing of this video is out of control. Multiple shots per second, crazy zooming in and out... it's like a 13-year-old TikTok addict time traveled 20 years into the past
As a middle aged man, every kid I've introduced to The Mars Volta have become huge fans. Especially this album.
Finally got to see them live 💪
nobody has ever quite touched these guys as far as intensity combined with creativity. A talented melding
Finally got around to seeing them live at red rocks last year. While they sounded great , I truly would’ve loved to have been here in their prime!
While this musical performance is legendary, it also rocketed in an era of skinny jeans sales the likes of which history may never see again.
Wow. The extended "Cicatriz ESP" is quite a treat. Improvisation with a purpose.
oooof, those vocals..... this is why you don't do shit in the studio you can't pull off live.... These guys like to talk an AWFUL lot of shit about other bands too. Spot on performance by the rest of the band though.
so good!
Just try to sound as good and tight as John Theodore live and you are not going to be able to do it 😅
“Hello we’re mudvayne” Thank U for that classic intro….
Jon Theodore's drumming is as iconic as it gets with such incredible dynamics and style. Truly inspiring. That album is a masterpiece.
That guy whacking away trying to upstage everyone? We get it.
These boys ain't right, but that record sure is, I tell ya whut.
@@johncheever4763 LOL trying to.
2003-05 was peak Volta
21:15
Hello, we're mudvayne, you guys should do what Alexisonfire and moneen did and cover each other's songs
Guitarist is a rad big geek lol😊
wTF!!!
I was there!
crazy how much bass and drums drive the mars volta
yo creo que esto es tan grande que no tenían ni idea de lo que estaban haciendo en ese preciso momento. Gracias infinitas por regalarnos después del 2000 esto.
Bruhhhh
Drums, bass and keyboard are the only thing that keep this band from breaking the bounds of gravity and floating off this planet.
Hello! We’re mudvyne! Best opening line ever.
Who's the bassman?
Jaun Alderete. He was in an 80s band called Racer X. He really shined in Volta.
straight up this is just about the tightest band I’ve ever heard live. unbelievable
I weep at the thought that kids these days will never know what good music is.
Mudhbeyn Rules
Saw them on this (their first) tour in Toronto at the Opera House. One of the most incredible live performances ive ever seen, and Deloused in the Comatorium is easily one of the top 5 records released so far this century. Actually im having trouble coming with four records as good or better than this, so really -- conservatively -- this record is top 3.
The stars aligned on that day. I wish I had been there.
