I cant wait to see Scott sing on stage live in Feb 2024 at the MCC theater in New York . I'm so excited and cant wait until Feb 2024. I have heard him sing at Ford Theater on a post several months ago and he still sounds so good in my opinion 🥰
🥺 una serie meravigliosa, che non ha nulla a che vedere con la spazzatura che propinano al giorno d'oggi e che in italia non hanno mai replicato...😢 quando non si capisce di arte succede così
This is a hard war against insects. God bless everyone who still has a soul. To the reprints, to the dead in this time war, our charge against the great filter… the steady state analysis of our souls… I love you and I am so sorry. A scar on my soul. ✨💖✨🐚👙
The new quantum leap will never come close to anything this good. Sam had more charm and charisma going for him, which made every leap a grand adventure. Funny enough, to think he probably wouldn't have turned out so care free, if he had remembered he had a wife waiting for him through out his journey through his leaps.
And the new series got parts of it wrong. Ben didn’t switch places with the person he leaped into. The person he leaped into just “lost time.” Also Ziggy spoke in the original, whereas no speaking in the new.
This show is the best I never knew this this episode was a thing I like Elvis he’s one of my favorite singers and I love this show 2 of my favorite things in one
If what I read online was correct, the intention was for there to be more seasons of Quantum Leap based on Sam not coming home. Still - the Quantum Leap reboot of 2022 is now an active thing, and may bring some longtime fans some closure depending on how the story plays out.
No disrespect to Scott Bakula and his amazing singing/dancing, guitar skills, but when I saw this episode back in 1993 I knew the series was about to be cancelled. The show had only done 1 famous person or event leap before, and that was Lee Harvey Oswald which was legit good. This episode and the Marilyn Monroe episode made the series look like it was veering away from the smaller stories about regular people to wanting to be a more traditional, in your face time travel show meeting historical people and doing historical events type show. I liked how Quantum Leap was so original and bucked the trend, doing unexpected things with regular, ordinary, non-famous people. And sure enough, the show was gone a little later when series creator Donald P. Bellisario said he would rather end it then do a traditional time travel show.
Can't blame Sam and his swiss-cheese brain for not piecing together that he was merely assisting with the appropriation of the black race by helping Elvis succeed. Plus maybe this was something that had to happen to ensure the overall history of things stayed positive 😂
@@brittneyking4284 I'm mostly kidding. I loved Elvis growing up. After seeing the movie, I firmly believe he grew up as a black kid and was just doing what every black artist at that time did. We always adapted each other's work, and it was a respect thing. RESPECT, for instance, was an Otis Redding song and not Aretha's. All our negro spirituals were borrowed. Elvis grew up black, and I think that is all the difference in the world.
I loveeee Quantum Leap. You notice between 1:10 and 1:11 the girls are all grooving to the music and then there's a big jump cut where Sam climbs up and Al zaps onto the counter, you see the girls had stopped moving, then immediately start up again. Cute.
I am a massive Elvis fan and they got this totally wrong…..but who cares?! I loved Quantum Leap, what made it so great is the mixture of storylines. One week it could be quite a harrowing or sad story, the next an upbeat or comical one.
LOL Al gagging over Tony Orlando & Dawn singing Jailhouse Rock; that would be like the Stones singing Tie a Yellow Ribbon... Nonetheless, Scott Bakula does kills it as Elvis.
It's actually this episode wich made me listen to Elvis's music. Then i learned about jerry lee lewis, Chuck berry, little Richard, the beatles, the stones and all the greats. I was 9 years old and i replayed this episode back then almost every day on my VCR. Without quantum leap, i'd maybe never had started learning guitar, then years later piano. It always makes emotionnal to rewatch that scene. First time i saw it, chills passed through my body. I immediately felt that this style of music was meant for me even tho I was just a kid in the mid-90s. Goosebumps to this day
Still watching and enjoying Quantum Leap in 2024 and loving every episode
0:07 I'm with Sam on that one. What?!
That was incredible. Love Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell and the original Quantum Leap
Excellent
New quantum leap gag me with a spoon 🥄 😂🤮
Wow some serious shade thrown at Tony Orlando and Dawn

Listen. Trust me on this one. You have to go from watching this classic quantum leap scene to the Chris Chan documentary.
I liked Tony Orlando and Dawn.
This man is a Genius, deserve a Tony, Oscar, and all the awards. A complete actor.
Agreed he is also very nice in person a real gentleman
This show is the best I never knew this this episode was a thing I like Elvis he’s one of my favorite singers and I love this show 2 of my favorite things in one
Super serie❤
I would rather watch this better than any of today’s shows. The talent is beyond incredible. I can’t believe it came to such an abrupt and sad ending.

Born in 82 I grew up watching ths man we literally had the best of life tbh
“A white man with a black mans voice” Let’s evolve and realize we’re stronger together

Jon Sanders…..I’m black and was literally born decades after Elvis death. It doesn’t matter what anybody believes, he’s still a legend and icon. 🤷🏽♀️

NBC made a goddamn mistake in shitcanning this show.
❤ just like the new series. No ultimate ending or resolution! I've been pissed since 1994
