They didnt use actual tasty wheat for the prop food. It was actually a fillipino desert they used for the prop food. Its called GINATAANG MAIS. Its made of coconut milk, galutinous rice, yellow or white corn, and sugar.

The way how Mouse acts reminds me of Heath Ledger's Joker.
