32 seconds and already a leak the water will flow across the top of that shingle than roll under the valley I have re-done countless close cut valleys
С правой стороны ендовы получается трехслойный пирог, с левой один слой кровли‼️очень спорное решение.
Duroooo!!! Más contenidos como estos 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Putting the left lower corner of each full-length shingle in the valley leads to an obvious repeating pattern on the roof in that section which won't look so good from below. The stepped offsets are just not enough to break up that pattern.
por que va esa teja atravesada ,no dicen nada ....solo la clolcan y dicen asi va y eso es todo...expliquen ...y tambien póir q cortan a un lado y a otro no ....
Do not use this technique. It's not allowed by many local building codes.
That's not a California valley
What are you saying? How many Bruh who is Allah? Who are the Mira who are the Buddha who are Buddha who are the Buddha who who who who that?
🤣🤣🤣
Hey good morning can't understand you !!
Ese bale es mui malo munchos no sabin aserlo bien crus!do o Cortado
Boston area
Its going to be a leak i can bet my last on it he puting to many nails in each shingle
While doning a valley i always put pressure in the center of the valley before nailing it
Great job ❤️👍
Wrong...got to put roofing cement down... "Stepbull".
Que lujo mae
T he message is not in English.
we call that a mount union style valley and California cut is where u cut it instead of running the shingle up for ur straight lije i like the saw tooth name though
I tried this I turned out beautiful I love the look
Hacked
Es decir q ese valle no lleva cruce
A "California valley " is not wrong depending on the climate you live in. Water is shed off of a roof faster using a W style metal valley. Water is slowed down while on the granular surface of shingles. If you've watched how a flash flood backs up, its similar to that. We had a leak on an 8/12" pitched roof because of a cupped deck board that was slowing down the water and found a nail directly above it. We used to do this California valley here in MN for years, but have learned that the W is better with our weather. I would recommend putting strips of ice & water shield along the edges of the valley before installing shingles. Always need to watch the pressure so that you dont blow through nailing strips on shingles to ensure you dont have csll backs for blow off or sliding shingles. My 2 cents...
Wet patch can be used on irregular pressure nails and a standard nail driven within 2 inches
W metal is only for tile roofs.
@@williamschlosser77 not here, everyone uses metal W valley on asphalt shingles
you sure are nailing pretty high up on the shingles...
Learn something new everyday. Thank you.
Jajajaj la vocesilla
U should overlap the California valley by an inch
I’ve done it that way and do not like it
That is the wrong way to do a valley ,,, to to thick in valley can be seen a mile away
Im very sure that your compressor psi is too high ! Nails wayyyyyyy too deep !
How many nails are required per shingle last I checked it was 5 in the starter strip and 4 in everything else. Way to go putting that extra nail in every shingle you just made the cost of that roof more by over nailing. Great job.👍
You need 6 per shingle in Florida. I would say almost every roofer I know elsewhere uses 5 per shingle.
Been roofing for 30+ years, and from what I've watched, you are a true roofer!!!! Excellent work!!
30+ years and you did not noticed that every nails are too deep ???😬
@@z9944xI am not a roofer. I have looked for that information and can’t find it. I’m doing a roof on small shed. How much or should nails come out the other side? On shingles and 30 min paper on 1/2 plywood what nail do u use
@@MA-vm6jl 1 1/4 nails.. Butyou ajust the dept on your nailer or air compressor
Lol nice nailing rofl 🤣 ill make sure to call you when we need a roof blown off
Yeah, great demonstration that ends when the trouble begins. Shingle short of edge and it appears to be thin. Terrible place to end the demonstration.🧐😖thumbs down, I’m afraid.
I'll give him a d+
Excelente, acho essa telha linda!!!
Id fired that crew of my jobsite. No need to explain why..
yep that is how I do it. Bulletproof. But I don't run them so far up the other side. Just wasting material. You can cut them right at the center of the valley. I use tin snips
ok it works . But it looks like bullshit. Just weave it.
Did a bad job starting the valley smh
Hope you use shingles adhesive under those shingles you lay straight up that at valley font want going under those shingles don't rely on that them tar strips on the back shingle only do so much laminated have bums in them shingles goes up and down dosnt completely bond to valley dirt get in there I do under shingle up the valley then when I done right down all edge that's exposed
Never never never. This is so wrong in so many ways. Pure laziness. I'd fire your ass.
Se clava en medio ahí sele puede levantar el shingle
I fire any crew that uses california valleys. Steel valleys standard.....always.
Why do most roofers take the spring off there Hitachi 🙄 its annoying to see them with noisy ass guns just nailing through shingles and saying this is hard work and no you idiots hard work is adjusting your gun pressure every day its nailing properly on the doble layer line or the nail line hard work is placing 4 to 6 the most nails not slamming 8 and just 1 or 2 correctly also those nasty asf gable cuts its so damn easy to cut if you don't have a steady hand buy some snips from Menards and slap a quick straight choke line like wtf is so hard most roofers don't pay attention to those details and if you don't then your not a roofer your just a dumb ass handyman type guy
My favorite way to shingle a valley. We call it a saw-tooth valley. Great work man, love how there’s appropriate space from your first and second nail for the seams.
Lol my ten years experience tells me this is a garbage Valley from a garbage installer.
El vale va cortado en el plano no en el geibo
Get two nails on that outside edge man hi winds!! Always thru the fascia double tap
Nails are cheap, put some more!! 😁 How about adjusting the depth on your nailer too. I never get tired of watching these fools haha!!
Use factory edges on left. And right
