Yep, it's very heavy in dimethicone.

acne can be caused by so many factors. stress, diet, hormones, sleep patterns, food allergies, environmental allergies and stressors - usually it is not 1 isolated thing which is why its extremely hard to figure out. Clean the diet up will help a lot though. Pro-biotics, pre-biotics and fermented food will help. Glutamine will start to heal the gut lining. look up 'leaky gut syndrome'. fix the gut and the rest should follow (start with non-processed foods. i.e eat wholefoods) work out what works for you. good luck everyone.

I just got the watermelon toner as I've been wanting to try it for so long. I have combination acne-prone skin, so the idea of a toner that not only exfoliates and cleans out the pores buts also hydrates and soothes sounded PERFECT! Old video I know but pores do not open and close! Heat causes sebum and the skin around pores to soften, so it's easier to extract all the icky. I know it's a common thing to say, but it's incorrect and kinda perpetuates an old wives tale. Since we should be moving away from them, I feel people should use accurate descriptions. That's just me being a nitpick, though; thanks very much for the demo and everything!

It is normal for your skin to react and purge to tretinoin. Once that phase is over the skin settles. You usually start with a retinol and then a low strength tretinoin. Retinoids are a long term commitment though. If you can't wait a year to see results, it's not for you. I may need to look up that video but by Curology, you may just mean tretinoin. That is why you felt the retinol worked better.
