WILD MAN KUNG FU Part 7 | INTERNAL POWER | The Simplest Martial Art Ever!
WILD MAN KUNG FU Part 7 | INTERNAL POWER | The Simplest Martial Art Ever! This is the final in a seven part series in which I am sharing my simple approach to martial arts. This is based on body efficiency rather than any particular forms or techniques. The most efficient stance for your body is the "Neutral Stance" and the most efficient way of generating movements and power comes from twisting and counter-twisting the spine. This video talks about generating movement and power from the tendons and the bone structure. I developed this idea from many years of training internal Kung Fu, Shaolin and Tai Chi as well as Yoga. This "body efficiency martial art" is designed to be simple and universal. It is based on the idea of the Wild Man being naturally in tune with their body and how to use it. We have to feel this body dynamics and practice keeping a neutral spine for maximum efficiency. That is more power and speed with less and less effort.

    Well explained Toby check out my personal favourite Chen style Taiji quan 56 routine which is a modern Competion routine based on combining two traditional forms together i think you might see a lot of similarities to what your describing ? Maybe not but its all food for thought and further study ? Its good to have hobbies and interests No curiorousity is idle ? Lol thank you

      @davidmiller4078 Thanks David! Yes I just checked out David Bao doing 56 form. Most excellent! some unusual moves for Tai Chi, great stuff. Yes David Bao has great fa jing power and control. this is exactly what I am trying to do. This springloading of the spine is to create fa jing power. I am trying to explain this simply and quickly and apply it to every type of movement. This guy David Bao is also holding a slight backward arch in his spine which is great. You have to experiment with this. try doing your tai chi with this dynamic and stretched out neutral spine, and try to keep a perfect vertical line from the crown down through the s-curve of the spine to the sacrum, then pivot around this. Then allow the hips to stretch out backwards like you are sitting on a chair. This will open the kua (in case you don't know this is the 'bridge' or a stretch across the back of the hips) Also hold the ribs and shoulders up and back a bit (this might be different from tai chi - but try it and see) and keep the belly in and the tension in the obliques to support the lumbar. I am using more of a tall, dancers body structure and moving around lightly. Thanks for your great comment and information! Much appreciated!

    Hi again Toby your aproach has stimulated me to re visit my Chen family style Tai ji quan forms which i had to lrave after relocating just before the Bat Flu Chaos Like a lot of others ive watched a lot of You Tube stuff and body mechanics has always fascinated me and all martial art training offers many lessons for us not just learning to defend ourselves from homicidal lunatics on crack but also to promote healh and longevity Where are you based ? Cheers stimulating stuff

      @davidmiller4078 Thanks again David! We are in London. Yes Chen style tai chi was also my favourite! But I never learned that one directly (I learned an older style of Yang) but they are all working towards the same idea. Yes martial arts training is good because it is spontaneous, and uses speed and power. This type of movement trains the tendons and the mind-body connection. Very good for health! (of course you need to do sparring and techniques if you want to do real combat). Efficiency also means greater endurance. You increase speed and power but reduce effort! use the alignment of the bones to create strength. Thanks for the great comment! (always need to be aware of lunatics!)

    Hello there 👋 I live these information u give. I am actually doing WimHof showers with cold water for 60 second over my head and body with relaxing breathing. Is the a similar concept of letting the brain moving?

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 16 годин тому

      Thank you! Yes cold water training is very good! I do this also and will talk about it soon! (I don't do it unless I feel like it) If you practise holding a good body posture when you are exercising, then try to hold a very good body posture when you stand under the cold shower you will feel the cold "energy" spread out through your whole body and it is easier to handle the cold water. Yes it will refresh your brain and body! Hot and cold opens and closes the pores in the skin, and expand and contract the blood vessels which helps to pump the blood circulation and the lymphatic circulation! Keep up your great training! And always follow your own feelings and experiment on yourself to find out how it works for you! Thanks for your great comment!

      Thank you! I have trained many styles of internal kung fu and qi gong, but not that exact one - I just had a look at it. Yes it is another good internal style! I have studied Yi chuan a lot also, a bit similar. What I am sharing on this channel is the same internal principles - explained simply (i hope!) - but with a slightly different body structure. Internal kung fu tends to tuck the pelvis under more. I am trying to maintain a pure neutral spine - slight backward arch in the lumbar and backwards tilt in the pelvis (about 7 degrees). And this tilt changes according to how low down I am going. I am also continuously holding an isometric tension through the spine to support it - holding the belly inwards. Not projecting the belly outwards in breathing like many qi gong styles. These are minor differences, essentially we are doing the same thing. My approach is not martial arts, but simply absolute optimum structure. (and it just so happens that this is also most efficient in martial arts - see my wild man kung fu series). Thank again for sharing that great information!!

    Hello Toby!! First, one incidental observation: While a picture can express a thousand words, I have the most difficulty in clearly seeing your most invaluable diagrams, because somehow they are just too vague unless you use consistently dark markers. I'm mentioning your diagrams, because I've realized that I learn best through the juxtaposition of pictures and lectures, and my ability to learn is at it peak through that means of delivery. While It may seem pretty that I'm bringing up this issue there may be others out here who will benefit from this, so my selfish seeming issue may well help other viewers. Is there anything that you can do about it? Thank you😊❤🤗. Your lecture 9 was complex, covering a lot of very interesting avenues; Shoulin, the lovely Bodidharma legend, Daoist search for immortality, fountain of youth, biology, and diet etc. It led me to consider my own religious upbringing, and how one was just conditioned to just accept what you were told without any reasoning about the source of such info. It's ironic really , because whilst my religion spoke about love, kindness, forgiveness and other high beneficent attitudes, it wasn't until I visited a vipassana centre that I learned how to actually manifest those qualities and apply them in everyday life. You encourage us to not simply accept and revere you as the source of astonishing information, which is quite contrary to many knowledge sharers. Your knowledge leads me to also consider the concept that the kingdom and the church of God is the human body, and organised religion has removed human beings so far from that concept that it takes a whole rethinking of one's life to get anywhere near to it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing!! Anyhow. Thanks again for your really unprecedented lectures and practical vids. More power to you and you mission. 😊🖤🙏🤝😃

      Heey thanks Winston! I really appreciate your great support! And everyone can benefit from your observations! Yes, thank you for telling me about the marker pens! I will improve on that! (I have already filmed the next lecture so I do hope it will be ok - but next time!) And yes! "the human body is the kingdom of god, and you - the soul - are that god" (made in the image of god - or we are a singularity of spirit - made of pure spirit/god) The Taoist see each organ as a different type of "personality" - each has its own part of the soul. For example the heart is the emperor or the general/commander of the organs. This really is complete integration of mind and body. Accepting that the soul really is in the body - and we feel it! Thanks again for another great comment!

      Yes! this does seem very funny! The neutral stance is very primal, like a gorilla. You could also think of this a monkey kung fu. There is a good reason for using this position - trying to keep the spine neutral and use the hips to create a bounce. I hope you might stay tuned for the last in the series - I will explain this in more detail. thanks for your comment!

      I understand your observations! I don't mean to come across like that! Im just enthusiastic about it. This is an idea about body dynamics being applied to martial arts. body dynamics alone is NOT combat, but Martial artists can benefit from thinking about this. I have said this in most of my videos - if you wanna do actual fighting you have to actually train that also. If you already know how to fight, improving your body efficiency can take you up another level. I hope you might try another look through my videos to see if any make more sense! Thanks for your honest comment!

      Ha ha! Thank you yes! I can see that this doesn't seem realistic - but I am working on body dynamics - Not directly combat. Combat is another thing altogether. Efficiency in body dynamics can take your combat up to another level - but without actual combat practice this is of course just dancing. Please do check out this recent video where I am talking about real world scenarios: ua-cam.com/video/ZNGJSobjxYI/v-deo.html I hope you can see that there is some serious thought behind this!

    I think that nutrition or diet is the most confusing subject for people who wants to find out how to be healthy. The web is full of experts with impressive titles, research and experience. A lot of contradictory advice. Even if you only look at the "blue zones" for a long life-and healthspan, they eat totally different. Everything from goatsblood and goatmilk( Kalahari tribes) vegetarians(Loma Linda), corn and beans ( south america), fish (escimos), lots of bread and olive oil (Greece). I don´t think that "meat or no meat" should be our main concern. I love the way you classified food into: food, medicine and poison. First of all, if we all stopped eating poison (proccessed, chemical based, antibiotic and hormone treated food-like substances) we would all be healthier. I am a vegetarian, been for many years. Never liked meat. Anorexia has nothing to do with veganism and everything to do with mindset and behavior( food can be an expression but hardly a cause). One of my go to source is Dr Ray Peat( Lots of milk,cheese,eggs and orange juice, berrys, meat, butter and coconut oil) Lots of carbs. He was looking at it from an energy standpoint ( Mitochondria and hormones particulary thyroid). You made a great point about the importance of how we treat the animals and what we give them. I do believe that we are different and have different needs besides eating food that are properly raised or grown. I am sorry for such a long comment:( Thank you for another enlightening lecture! I read something a long time ago, can´t remember who wrote it: "Don´t do what the old masters did, seek what they sought" You remind me of this.

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 3 дні тому

      Thank you Tony! Please do keep these "long" comments coming! they are very much appreciated! And everyone can benefit from your information! Yes there is a lot more to talk about on diet. And yes you can do well with just raw milks, eggs and cheese. Swiss blue zone is all about springtime milk and raw cheese and butter. All delicious and nutricious! Sadly veganism is still psycho-physical. Without enough animal cholestrol the brain physically starves and "dries out" this leads to mental issues and the first of these is loss of empathy. This is partly why they become very aggressive and fundamental. Notice how the carnivore side are much more calm and rational. I was raw vegan for a good while, with very high quality "foods", but I just got weaker and weaker, physically and mentally. in just one week of eating meat I regained strength. I think we just need to recognise that we are part of the cycle of food. The body eats meat - it has to - if we don't feed it meat it will "eat itself". We gradually draw the nutrients we need out of our own bones and internal organs - including the brain. We can do this for a long time, but it is of course not helping our longevity. And Yes! Not so much looking at the master, rather looking at what the master is looking at! Thanks again for a great comment! 🙏

And of course the highest level of martial arts is tactics. Rather like you become the general of the army rather than the foot soldier. Or the wise old master can beat the superfit youngster by outwitting him! saying that we can all train out tendons into old age - they will always grow no matter our age! The research at Heartmath showed that the hearts energy field is 60 times stronger than the brain!! You know that the heart is not only a pump, it actually sucks back blood when it relaxes. We do have several pumps in the body. Not many people think about the pericardium being attached to the diaphragm, so the diaphragm (breathing) is also a pump. Simon Borg-Olivier talks about, I think it was 9 pumps in the body, amazing! Question: Is Schaubergers " Living water", the same as structured water? Thank you for another awesome lecture. I had to watch it twice:) ( still thinking about the karma stuff:).

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 4 дні тому

      Really great additional information! Thanks for sharing this! - Do keep this information coming - everyone can benefit! Yes, there is a lot more to this, I am just introducing what I think are the most important features of the body, but you can see how many layers of complexity are required for the body! I suspect trillions of layers of complexity! Yes, glad you know Shauberger! He is great! There is a lot going on with water! It has energy itself and holds information and it creates energy in movement (shauberger). Basic structured water is hexagonal pattern, but with deeper layers to the pattern (frozen you get these different snowflake patterns - again these reflect the intension or information put upon the water). Water also has surface tension and interacts with hydrophylic substances in a different way (might need to look this up). Shaubergers living water is slightly different concept to structured water. He studied natural fluid dynamics and creating energy with this (implosion and turbines etc). But the natural rivers in the forest that he studied would have been high quality structured water. And a lot of his inventions were to purify and structure the water (but I don't think anyone knew about structured water back then). We can feel it when the water is powerful. Natural, clean, moving (falling) water in a pure natural environment is gonna be best - simple. We can give this information to water before we drink it. Also drink out of a crystal glass or copper cup. Then hold the cup for a moment and imagine this is the purest, freshest water from a natural place! You will know when the water takes this information and then drink it! Create living, structured water like this! Also add ice which encourages structure and is nice in summer! Thanks again for a great comment!

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 4 дні тому

      Yes! The information is layered on top of the carrier wave which the water picks up. And the hexagonal structure is the base layer for more detailed information. You can see this when you freeze the water. Each snowflake hexagonal shape has different minor variations - no 2 are the same. This is how detailed information is transmitted through water. Same principle as the radio broadcast system - the detailed information of music say is layered on top of the base radio wave that is recieved by the ariel. Thanks again for another great comment!

    Structured water makes itself pure. Referred to as "exclusion zone" or EZ water, it forms along all edges/faces the water experiences.

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 4 дні тому

      Thanks for that great information! Always appreciated! Yes water absorbs energy and also interacts electromagnetically with surfaces (and itself - surface tension). Sunlight will energise the water and increase this EZ water interaction ability. Improving blood circulation etc. This is essentially just scientific confirmation of what we instinctively all know. Being in pure nature, drinking clean mountain water on a sunny day is really, really good for us!

    I've been thinking for so long of a series of exercises like this that activates all the muscles. Recovering ACL & PCL reconstruction 1y post op and trying different things to get my mobility to the next level. People look at me funny when I do these stretches, but they don't feel what I feel where the muscles are not working and only with 100% focus on each fibre gives me the ability to be the best human 2.0 I can be. This biomech suit needs to be optimized🦾

Optimisation is in minute adjustments of the bone structure and developing ultimate control of each joint as well as the whole spine. Then you can use this for whatever activity you want! And yes! I often get people talking to me at the gym about my unusual exercises! Thanks for your great comment! Very much appreciated! Please do stay tuned!

      @@bodyefficiencytraining I even do these types of body mobility - I call it functional yoga -, in daily life example when pushing a lawn mower away from you & pulling it back in, lunging forward and back. My body feels like it has a layer of rust that slowly breaks away as my body becomes more mobile, sending energy (like oil) to the where the body needs it to become flexible and elastic again.

    Kindly notice how your posture becomes completely different once you start to actually push and pull the column. I think there might be a hint there - your body tries to tell you something it knows about it's own efficiency 😉

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 5 днів тому

      Well observed! Thank you for the comment. Yes the action stretches out the posture, but I have to try to allow that stretch to be even through all the joints. Not just one vertebra of the spine for example. I move away from the neutral stance with awareness and spring back to it (I try!) The most efficient way of transmitting force is through the alignment of the bone structure and this is what I am working on all the time. And the stretch acts like an elastic recoil helping to generate power...

    In trying out this drunken monkey exercises, let me share the following with you. I was fascinated by how Toby described it in terms of being free. I thought I'd share my experience of trying this out. Perhaps it may inspire others to explore these interesting possibilities. The first thing I thought was typically reactionary. Like; 'No. I wouldn't be able to do this because it's stupid" But if you're alone in a room, who you going to look stupid to? No one! To be honest, it didn't take long for me to discard the judgemental aspect of my inner voice. Having not observed a drunken monkey for some time in the real, I first. observed Toby's freedom of movement and used it as a kind of template to my own movements. The intense session was over in a short time. My conclusion is that finding freedom in drunken monkey is quite demanding physically, and liberating, from one's restrictive judgemental side. Interestingly enough, as I was going through drunken monkey my wife walked by. Whilse I registered her brief presence, it didn't interfere with my session. I presume she just accepted I was doing some kind of exercise and went on with her own business without concerns. 😊❤🙏😅

      Thanks again for sharing your experience! Really great stuff! Yes it is helping you to let go and just feel the energy and the movement in your body. Letting the "wildness" come back! It trains your instinct and intuition and the ability to move spontaneously. Also it unifies your body and mind and focusses your soul. You gain fitness and health and greater awareness and spirit and you don't even think about it. Just happens naturally. You don't have to do this all the time, but it should be enjoyable and make you feel stronger in your body. Keep up the great work! Thanks again for the great comment!

    I liked your precautionary take on not being ecstatic. Its important that you made that clear, because otherwise some people will misunderstand, and try and be wildly uplifted. Cheerfulness seems to be a more moderated state, where you can balance your state of mind through your will, somewhat like equanimity. More desireable, once one appreciates thr benefits.

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 7 днів тому

      Yes exactly equanimity!! this is balance and contentment - even a gratitude. Your heart is open but you are careful to control your aura - so it is protected. When we get overly excited we can loose awareness. Emotions are qi so we need to conserve them - this is conserving qi. It doesn't mean we don't feel anything, in fact we will feel more! But it will be deeper, more powerful and more internal. And more in control. Thanks for sharing those great words!

When you get the hang of this you can make it more practical. I am allowing my arms to swing so that I can counterbalance the legs and move fast without loosing balance. But you can of course do this kick in different ways and maintain arms closer to your body for practical combat. I will be talking about practical combat in part 6 coming soon! Please do stay tuned! I am trying to figure out if rebounding on a mini trampoline is like a moden day qigone . How does it compare to ping shuai arm swings. Wild goose, 8 brocades ect?

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 9 днів тому

      Yes, rebounding is great! I don't have a trampoline, but I do bounce on my toes often to shake up the body. When you do it just be aware of your body structure. Try doing it with a "rigid" body in a good alignment. squeeze glutes, pull in stomach, lift up chest and pull shoulders up and back a bit, then pull the chin in a little to stretch the neck a bit. Then when you bounce you can feel it through your whole structure. You can experiment with bent or straight legs, different arm positions etc... You are shaking up the blood, lymph and energy through the bones. Other styles just move your arms and body in different ways which is also necessary, but need a bit more thought than the trampoline which is easier to just do it. But its all good stuff! Just always follow your feelings and see what you like to do! Thanks for the great comment!

    I saw a similar idea of ether in the works of Yuri Stepanych Rybnikov, namely in his tables showing the structure of atoms. In these tables you can see the "Neutron" called "Firstborn" in the table and "Proton" it is called "Hydrogen".(If I'm not mistaken) Also in this table there are many interesting patterns that determine the properties of atoms. There is a site called "ruversrod" where you can view this table. If of course it will be available to you. I hope this is helpful to you and also makes sense.

    The body is indeed all about glands and hormons, then it get's really subtle with the energy body. You're familiar with the stuff Terrence Howard came out on JRE? There's some good info you present but others i don't agree, like the statement about vegeterianism not being a suitable diet for the mitochondria. Have you got any source for that? Appreciate the effort.

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 10 днів тому

      Thank you for your great feedback! I have not seen the JRE interview - will have a look thanks! Yes, my vegetarian statement I know is controversial, there is a lot more to it which I will talk about properly in time - its a difficult topic as people are so passionate about diet! (the confusion is in the ethics of harming an animal - which requires some proper explanation as to how it can work) In fact I was vegetarian for the first half of my life and it was difficult for me to eat meat. But I was so much better when I did! I have tried most diets, including very high quality raw vegan after my surgeries, but I just got weaker and weaker. Only with good quality (high welfare) animal fat and protein did I get stronger. There is very good evidence that we need meat as the source of heme iron - its a bit different to plant minerals. And at least 50 nutrients that you can't get from plants alone. But even if you just have eggs, raw milk and cheese this can be enough. You can look for videos with Dr Natasha Campbell Mcbride, she has a good explanation of meat vs vegetarian diet. You can see a good interview with her here: ua-cam.com/video/he4WGcsUJ5A/v-deo.html Thanks for watching and giving your honest feedback! More lectures are coming, so I hope you do stay tuned!

    Νice! I'm not convinced that space - as official Science describes it and depicts it - is real and i can't say that black holes exist, i believe they don't. I only can see fakery in whatever refers to the official model of the cosmos and that's what puzzles me... Is there a cyclical mega - catastrophic event the reason behind these lies the System feeds us?

    • @bodyefficiencytraining
      @bodyefficiencytraining 10 днів тому

      Yes indeed, everything seems to be the opposite of what they tell us!! Black holes are not objects, but they are sinkholes in the field. We can see galaxies through an amateur telescope so they are there and they must be spinning around something - they spin around the plane of inertia of a black hole. Same with the solar system - it spins around the plane of inertia of the sun. The model I am presenting is really Tesla's field theory about the Aether, very different to modern physics. Totally different ideas about space and time etc.. Do have a look at my first lecture where I break down modern physics as nonsense: ua-cam.com/video/5t7-eM5fMYw/v-deo.html We do seem to have gone through man-made resets in history, and history is then rewritten to keep us under control. But in terms of mega catastrophies I think they like to keep us worried about armageddon etc.. So I don't think we need to worry about it at all. I don't think there is a "universal total destruction", just what is created by man or random natural events. I will be doing a whole lecture on the various deceptions we have been told and what we can do about it. Also check out this channel which talks about the possible real history and the fake history we have been given (have a look through his channel also): ua-cam.com/video/Meg0dC4z1Js/v-deo.html Thanks again for your great comments!
