Whats the best spots and lures to use for reddies at eppalock? I was thinking a 2.5 inch zman slim swimz for the lure and maybe motor oil or the dark purple colour. Would these work? Also whats the best spot at eppalock for land based

@@TobysfishingNoutdoors thanks Toby, I was using a Bassman carls compact for the yellas in the olive colour, but if you you wanted to target both cod and yellowbelly i would recommend a pink and black Bassman Codman 1/2 once, that’s all I use and I have caught probably over 40 fish on them. Did you hear about coopers session yesterday he got over 20 big mud marlins, a Redfin, and a Eel. I also went out yesterday and caught some ripper Redfin on my homemade Softplastics, and seen some monster mud marlins betweeen 80-100 swiming in schools.
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors I was using a custom crafted lure, they are very hard to find as the are made by one guy in Wagga, and cooper was using a red size 2 stump jumper he also loves predatek divers

He’s had a pretty bad run with his videos recently, I’m pretty sure he deleted some footage not so long ago… what ounce do ya reckon for just yellas???… I’ll definitely be getting some more little size stumpys, that’s what I got me first ever yella on and I’ve heard the little predatek are pretty good! What plastics did you make?
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors just some 3 inch ones for Redfin ones they work a treat, as for the recording mate I don’t think he was.
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors trust me get a Bassman Codman in pink and black over the carls compact one. Looking back now I know they were way too small and a cod would most likely ignore it. We fished for a week straight when I posted this video and like the other 4 from this trip we caught over 20 yellas and 1 cod. If you do get a Codman one take off the paddle tail and stinger hook, I have found I get more fish without it on there.
