I read that Snatcher and Shadowrun (both evident from this video) influenced this game, but did Illusion City also have an influence? This game kinda reminds me of it. Also, I love the music that kicks in around 16:14.

i got that game not long ago and i find it pretty hard even on easy. maybe im just bad at such game but its fun anyway.

Looks pretty amazing, I won't play the demo because I want to experience it when I get the game.

The numeral when. U hit the enemy with a shot is annoying. It get it creates flash and pizzaz on the screen but it just detract from realism and atmosphere and substance .

The boss is too much of a push over .!! He need to move towards the player and try to corner him and swing that damn axe and destroy those boxes . The player should be able to run around the boxes.. That boss is menacing. But we hate when a boss is an easy kill.. I hated that about shinobi 3 some cool characters die in few hits.!! Instead of being as strong as they look. That makes the game have substance. Yes the character runs now.!! But he runs too damn fast.! We don’t wan the game to go by and just end too soon.! I still say the game should be named Mad city . Or something. Infinite ammo is a no.!..!!! Resident evil /metal gear style would be preferred . Pick up, conserve and run out of ammo Given this game depth please and stop having it play like a quick arcade romp And those are the elements that give depth.

For me the appeal of potentially getting this game is the enhanced sound chip. This is really a technical accomplishment for the Sega Genesis. I’m not dissing the FM sound either, it still sounds really good but to make sound so good on a Genesis cartridge game is really cool

HOW IS THIS MUSIC POSSIBLE ON A GENESIS CART!? I know the Mega Everdrive Pro can do this too but I don’t understand how the audio gets routed through the Genesis’ output without turning it into (mangled) PCM.

The music kills the vyb. Less is more And it could be a better experience if the music wasn’t giving action sequence vybz . . Silence n some sound effects would be golden 👌🏾 .. slow the music down considerably & turn the volume down . See mission to mars

I'd be happy to pay full price for this beauty, but unfortunately i dont have mega drive hardware. The only way for me to enjoy is to play through an emulator (which i understand won't be available). Any plans for the Nintendo switch or other consoles?

Well composed soundtrack that suits the action perfectly, and the Shadow Run inspired gameplay seems promising!

It is so incredible what developers like yourselves have done with the Genesis over the years. I had all Nintendo consoles growing up but always liked playing the Genesis over at friends' houses and I especially liked the Sega Arcade games. As I got into my 20s, I really started gaining an true appreciation for this system when I finally bought one, which was well into the 6th generation. To say my mind is blown by what's been done on this "old" hardware in the past 10-15 years is a vast understatement -- It was only towards the "end" of the life of the Snes & Genesis that they really started to be able to hit the true potential of these machines but by that point we just "had" to have something new when we already had "gold". I don't have any of my old systems anymore, mainly because it just took up too much space. Is there an option to purchase these games to play via emulation?

Hope they remake this 1 day and with dlc.
