I don't think uber is a very lucrative job. It's potential to make some extra money but I think once you factor in cost of gas, maintenance on your car it's a below minimum wage position

You don't have to pay an agent at all. Though I highly recommend it. In July, buyers agents commission will no longer be listed on the mls. In a traditional scenario when selling your house, you would hire a listing agent and their brokerage. The listing agent would charge a fee, 5%,6%,7% that would be paid to that agents brokerage. That brokerage typically then co-brokes with the buyers agent brokerage. That 5-7% is then split between the 2 agents.

@@LIVINGINSTAUGUSTINE Personally, I appreciate that; the local political climate can be an important part of making an informed decision when purchasing a property. 👍🏼 May sound crazy, but as an Independent, I literally looked up the voter rolls while I was searching for my home in late 2020, just to make sure that I found a place in an area where neighbors with differing viewpoints were well-established and peacefully co-existing, rather than choosing something in a simmering enclave at one or the other end of the political spectrum. It’s only one aspect, of course, but it turned out to be a great decision, and I feel blessed to have fantastic, caring neighbors in my little cul-de-sac who are capable of engaging in intelligent, wide-ranging discussions during occasional evening gatherings, either lakeside or ‘front stoop’ lol

Thanks for the compliment! I think Hastings is seeing some big changes by necessity. Pricing in St Augustine has become a lot for locals. I think Hastings is a logical choice. They just got a new wastewater treatment facility and the main street is being revitalized

I 100% see both sides. But my point with that specific comment is that we currently have next to no affordable housing. Especially in the area outlined. If he were to take the same case study for his area up north I don't imagine he'd feel the same. I know in most areas surrounding a metro people commute at least 45 mins for work. It's growing pains unfortunately

The difference between then and now is hyper inflation starting to happen now and the dollar is losing its world reserve currency by BRICS nations and dumping of US Treasuries. The dollar will soon be worthless, and when it happens. your house will be foreclosed on as you will not be able to afford it anymore and people from nations like China and Russia will take over all these mortgages because their currency will actually be worth something and our currency will be toilet paper.

You most.certainly do get the invite in fact can't wait for the first Surf ranch party once we finish the house! St. Aug will always rock if one knows how to navigate. Perfect example is by boat
