Ive had a few races lately where Im going super fast... and the game is like, HA, you qualified 8th cause the other 7 qualified ahead of you setting track records 😂. Love to see the comeback. What a good race. Chicagoland was a great track, its just a shame NASCAR hasnt been there in a few. Its a good place to showcase and you did excellently. I feel like sponsors will beat down your door to have their name on your car soon!😊

The Rock was my home track. The trick, for me, was setting up for turn 3. 1 and 2 should be a little tight so that you can really power through 3 and 4. In that config, you set yourself up for the drag race off 4 to the line.

The only thing harder than winning at The Monster is the wall.

Oh snap, it's Daytona night. I love this kind of race. It was a good one from start to finish and I'm glad you didn't give up on the Rusty issue. That kind of thing happens for some reason but the fact your car was so good to get to the front and stay there means that this time is moving forward at HUGE leaps. The championship charge is still on for you.

I definitely noticed how much better your car ran in qualifying with the Speedway package for Chassis, Engine and Body. I did have some concerns with the RPMs in qualifying though, that's a dangerous redline to run here. I haven't watched the race yet, but in the future, adjust your final gear to give you more headroom. Ryan Newman doored you INTO the wall, which caused the issue for you. But I'm glad you avoided getting DNF'd. Now we gotta come back. Saw the last lap... What did I say... BROTHER IS ABOUT TO COOK! Let's GO!

Put steering assist on high. I know it sounds weird but it works. Low or high traction control if you’re having problems spinning the tires.

Game is 15 years old and better than the nh5 and ignition combined.

I didn't know you were playing Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. That thing was wicked loose. I also heard a slight audio issue where it sounded doubled from the game. Crazy enough, you caused the big one. I'm actually quite impressed with that one. It happens though, you'll be alright. I'm proud of you champ.

Congrats on the dub! I love the nostalgia. I know it's a little late, now, but I recommend lowering all four tires by 2psi when you're that unstable in the turns. When you're loose, there is a tendency to think a cross-weight change or tail fin adjustment (which, in RL, you can only do before the competitive event) is the better choice. However, my experience is these latter choices tighten the rear end too much. The driver has more control over tire wear then anything else. You can always save your tires and gas until the final charge. You can't do that with deeper mechanical adjustments.

My guy is BACK! Love the NASCAR Thunder 04 Career mode gameplay. You're doing great. Love the content and definitely can't wait to see what you're doing next in the standings. Just gotta keep scoring more than those ahead of you. That caution was pretty interesting, the famous Sticky Wall got you there. Also, here's a positive. You pitted in 15th, came out 14th. Huge gain on pits. That was the catalyst for the race finish man. You did good. Let's take it in stride.

Awesome showing! You can't do this in game but Rusty Wallace told me he could shut off the engine at the top of the hill (turn 7) and didn't need to restart it until he reached the bottom. This got him about 2 -3 more laps on his mileage.

I know you need shorter races to keep the video length reasonable videos. However, I am wondering if longer races might afford you a better chance to recover from incidents or just give you more chances to have issues.

I can't believe it, I saw Steven make track specific equipment! I'm so proud of you. You're doing well this season and I don't think it's a major issue. Speaking of fall-off, with the help of us looking into the modded side, the mod creator has told me that each driver has a stat system and one stat, is Variance. So believe it or not, it's like a momentum stat. If a driver becomes dominant, it means their variance is allowing that to happen. AKA, why Jeff Gordon is so dominant for your series. Hang your hat on this race. You qualified in the Top 10 and made it clear you belong near the front. Just a few more small changes and I guarantee you'll be at the front more than expected. You're in shot of the title. Just score more points than your opponents. You got this! Also, Georgia Power is hard to please. And so is KMart. I suggest getting the Flowbench but if you need Tire Wear improvement, then Welding would help.

Get the welding station next. You need to improve your tire wear. Watching your races, I get the impression you may be overloading the RF. That might be why you wear the RF so quickly. If this is the case, I recommend changing your tire pressures to shift your traction more on to the other three tires. If the rear feels too tight, make a wedge adjustment to shift the weight to the left. Also, are you trailing the brake when entering the turn or are you lifting off the accelerator completely? On a different note, you mentioned Ashton Lewis and it reminded me when he and I met for an autograph session. We didn't race in the same leagues. At the time, he was in Busch series and I was in the Coca-Cola league. We had no idea who each other was. We got a laugh out of it and ended up staying in touch for a few seasons.

How are you steering the car? Keyboard or mouse? I ask because this is two races I've watched were it looks like you're having a heck of a time holding a straight line down the shoots. I'd recommend a controller, if you're not already using one. Racing wheels are problematic. I've gone through a number of racing wheels and have learned the only good ones are custom made. However, that's the expensive option.

Aye, Georgia Power! Although, they're a pretty decent company for electricity, it's nice to see some new sponsors on your ride. As for the race, you got blessed with the best caution at Martinsville. Not sure how there were three DNFs at the start of the race like that. Shame Kevin Harvick wasn't there to finish it out but good on you for gaining points on those who are ahead of you. Just keep chopping away at the deficit and you'll find yourself back up there at the top. I believe in you man!

What I think is Charlotte is a badly programmed track in this game. Turn four is slicker than a baby's bottom, and it always seems like the car is out of control at this track and then you will be out of control and into the wall really quick. But I feel like certain tracks like Homestead 2003 were added in late and they weren't tested right. Charlotte in this game can get quite hairy.
