😂 they are 800rms but yeah imagine I have to use 4 of these because three can't take the 3k taramps 😅 but out of all the subwoofers I have owned massive xlr, sundown u,x , juggernaut and lots more these are the most musical only problem like u Stated 🤣 is the power handling

​@@CompactAudiodesignsthese subwoofers look at a maximum of 300w rms, they have a very small suspension, if there was a suspension on them like on the edge edb12d2x subwoofer, I would believe you that there is 800w rms, but you have a suspension on them like on a stationery elastic band🤣

@@phonkhype- they are taking the 800 rms which was a surprise to me when I put 2400 rms to the three I have no problem at all

It's according to what type of mids or bass u running is what u will set the dsp at .if u have 6 , 8,10 inch mids u have to use different frequency range for each one ,bass is the same thing according to what type of subs u running is what u set your dsp too eg a low bass sub will use a different settings to a high bass sub

The 15 is rated at 4000 watts and we have it on a 3k and it taking the power but idk about that 4k rating so most likely the 8 will take what they saying

It sounding good but is for low bass I rather the massive and the deaf bounce over these

Louder is a weird word to use between a high bass sub and a low bass sub they are completely different . the x is for low bass like 35 hz and under and the u is for high bass 35 hz and up so eg if u playing higher frequencies the U will play louder if u playing lower frequencies the X will play louder so all goes back to what kinda bass u looking for

All cars are different! Some sound better facing forwards, some better backwards, some better sideway and some upside down! My civic sounded best facing forwards and my new Mazda 3 sounds best sideways

Ok people different vehicles eg. station wagon ,sports car , sedans etc all have different configuration which sounds better with experience over the years doing installations as soon as I see a wagon I know that it's a 95 percent chance I know where to face the enclosure to get maximum output just because of the type of vehicle

It's a very good sub but the original u has a much better built quality over the v2 . Also people mostly listen to Lows these days so they just go with the x or z for lows this is a more a everyday musical sub

A amp clips when the gain is too high or some kinda boosting going on either from the deck or the amp or not enough current but a 3k or 4k will power it just fine

Is your power supply adequate enough? Big 3,Zero guage Power and Ground, large enough alternator or extra batteries I'm the trunk?

find out whats the ohm load on that sub only then u could know if u could run at 1 ohm look at the bottom of the sub to see or use a multimeter

its not the amp that determines the ohm load its the sub you have first find what ohm your sub is rated at a dual 4 sub can only go to 2 ohms a dual 2 sub could go to 1 ohm and so on when u go to a pair of subs then it changes again
