Hi! Otters sure are cute. I'm sure it must feel really good to scratch that itch 😁There is a much more important reason to otters rolling in the sand though: grooming. Otters need to groom their fur to maintain a layer of trapped air. Minute spaces between the hairs trap air effectively. This layer of air together with sebaceous secretions on their skin helps with repelling water as well as insulation.

Yes! Really intricate details depicting the great events. I can't imagine how long it took the artist Leite to piece together the artwork and complete the tiles, and this was almost a hundred years ago!

Great to hear from you again! Interesting point about the instrument, never knew that! The hotel guys said this was their rendition of the Sri Lankan royal welcome from hundreds of years ago. It was an amazing stay. Will visit Sigiriya and the rest of the north on my next trip to Sri Lanka. I've read that drones are prohibited on site at Sigiriya and most other major historical monuments after a series of drone crashes on these monuments, but I think you can take off elsewhere nearby and do a pan shot of the site (many other videos feature these locations, I'm sure there are ways to). I used a Nikon Coolpix P950 (bridge camera) for wildlife and scenery photos. For videos, it was a combo of the P950, Insta360 One X3 and my phone (Xiaomi Mi 11 😂) for a quick and convenient draw.

Visa-free arrangement between my country and Sri Lanka. No issues there. It's not all that expensive compared to many other countries anyway, and you process your visa directly via the official government portal. Never do it via a 3rd party.

Hey there! Yes, you could. A little far off though. You can have a gauge of distance at 0:09 (normal lens) and 2:23 (wide-angled lens used which makes it seem further than it actually is), the closest screen is above the end of the Ferrari pit garage, in between the "Singapore Home of F1 Night Racing" signs.
