People only discredit Hendrix because they don’t know enough of his deep cuts imo.
Jimi is so laying it down on this cut thats true music
This generation has no one close to jimi we had the best guitarist in 60s and 70s young generation listen and learn from the song s of power and love
👏
He never could capture this again. Same with machine gun and who knows and message of love. Definative. It was a once magical moment.mitch is a forever drummer for Jimi. But Buddy provided the best Jimi ever did live on his greatest recordings Mitch was better than Buddy.
I don't understand more of his music is released now than when it first come out.
One people don't known all his music was w love for all to enjoy he was ahead of his time and all his music touched me this jam was tight
One thing jimi was a great person and loved people and making music w all people wanting to jam really down to earth jimi was the real deal
I love this!
Thanks man
BIG FAN!!.. 👏
Thanks man.
@rockinron3215 obrigada, pela memória! Isso é muito foda
WOW !
Released on Dunhill records in the U.S.
I ❤this
I love this version. More polished than the original. That said, This is an Alan Douglas travesty. The personnel on this is Larry Lee on guitar who played with Jimi at Woodstock, Alan schwartsberg on drums, And bob Babbitt of Motown fame on bass. Taking session players and recording posthumous Hendrix tracks. Way after Jimi died to cash in the Jimi legacy. Still, I love this because was the first version of beginnings I listened to as a teen in the 70's. The version on. First rays is the actual Jimi recording, but it's raw compared to this. I believe Larry Lee is doing the first and last solos. It ain't Jimi.
The Fuzz Face is the weapon of choice.
One of my friends had this "album" when I was a kid. Much I didn't understand at the time about the assorted unfinished and undeveloped stuff Jimi left behind in assorted studios that others later took and added tracks to and released. This was one of the better ones. "Loose Ends" was another that had a lot of good stuff on it. "High Live and Dirty" (with Jimi just kind of randomly jamming while Jim Morrison screamed obscenities into the microphone), yeah, not so much. Also not so hot are a few really early ones (that I still have, and I assume were from before he went to Europe) where he was backing up Little Richard on songs like "Hang On Sloopy", and was so constrained that his talent didn't really come through at all. Some day I'll hook my turntable back up and give 'em another listen, but I remember them being pretty disappointing.
:D
One of the top guitar players ever, can you upload more from this album? Thanks for these two tracks 🍺
I posted I think 5 songs but I think 3 were copyrighted. Once I had a Woman was one that was copyrighted. I have this cd and Crash Landing
What a killer riff.
This is my favourite hendrix instrumental
Love it!
Thanks!!
That's Larry Lee playing the first cleaner sounding solo section and outro as well!🤘❤🤘
Jimi's on fire Is this a mash up If it is it's effing good The intergalactic guitar god is back
That's NOT Jimi on Guitars.... He's been EDITED in there ( Bits & Pieces) but the rest is OBVIOUSLY someone else on Guitars( it's not even Jimi's Style of playing)😢
Hendrix: a level of genius not seen in the guitar world since Django Reinhardt.
Much respect to Alan Douglas for putting this together. The overdubbed drums and bass sound awesome. It's so much more exciting and fresh compared to the source material, which lacks any kind of excitement.
The man on the scene
I’ve been in a punk and Death Metal bands for almost 40 years. People argue/ but There isn’t nor ever will he anyone close to Hendrix. The God The GOAT
Listen To it twice it has a New effect everytime you lHear it

No one sounds like him.

❤❤❤❤❤❤
You bring him to life when you play 1 of his records, He sed when im gone play my records and enjoy, 🐺
A very good track, according to the information the track is from 1969, i wonder why it wasn't released at the time of the recording or close to it, he barely released studio albums in his life but after his death albums come out like mushrooms after the rain, it's a bit suspicious i must say, was Jimi Hendrix a good guitar player? he was good to the extent that guitar players could be in the late sixties, what does it mean? he wasn't better than the others but he surely wasn't worse than the others, thanks for sharing.
Jimi was like a magician , how he did it , only God & He will ever know . R.I P. My brother from another mother!
He's great the Gods of Guitar
